Hello PS and everyone else!
Last week at work. Cool. Make sure you spend lots of it chatting over tea and biscuits!
AFM - depending if you saw weekend thread you may or may not know our toddler is away with grandparents for 4/5 days! It's amazing! I'm still in bed :)
29/07/2013 at 08:37
PS - exciting that it's your last week at work, hope it goes smoothly for you.
IDC - ooh lovely that you are able to enjoy a nice lay-in and some adult time, have fun!
AFM - 20 working days left, 2 full weeks and then down to shorter weeks til I leave on 30th August, I seriously can't wait. Not much to report baby-wise except MIL was finally able to feel baby move last night, we've been trying to get her to feel for ages but baby keeps going to sleep when she's around so she hadn't felt it move yet. I'd like to think that she'll have the same calming effect when baby is here - she will never be allowed to go home if that's the case!

Poppy- enjoy your last week
IDC - very jealous that you are toddler free! Enjoy your rest!
AFM - H was tiling the bathroom at the weekend so I am left to scrub off all the grout and mess today. Not much else to report really. Got a MW appointment tomorrow so looking forward to seeing if my bump has grown much
29/07/2013 at 08:40
PC missed you there. Short weeks will be nice to help you start winding down. Nice for MIL to be able to feel kicks
29/07/2013 at 08:45
PS - hope it's a quick and easy last week
IDC - enjoy the peace and freedom! We had an unexpected child free weekend which was lovely!
Popcorn - I also finish on 30/8, we can count down together!
AFM - was supposed to be meeting a friend this afternoon and her new baby but she's had to cancel sons quiet day but I feel I've loads of jobs to do in the house so will try and crack on with those. Have docs appt for A this morning, we think there's something wrong with his willy so best to get it checked out, although I'd prefer it if H was there!
Bump is all good, my mw friend noticed bump tightening when she was having a prod last week, and I've noticed it a couple of times now. I can I only tell when I feel with my hands though, I don't actually feel anything in bump IFSWIM. So after thinking I've not had BH, it turns out I have and probably did last time too. So observant me...
BG - all the 3's - 33+3

Missed you there JT - I have an equally glamorous job of repairing the pointing in the patio, so we can be DIYers together today!

Morning PS, enjoy your final week at work!
IDC, what've you got planned for your child-free few days? Have fun!
PC, that's lovely that your MIL got to feel the baby and you tried so hard to involve her
JT, will be very rewarding work today I'm sure
AFM - due tomorrow and fairly certain he's not engaged yet. Midwife tomorrow to check. Will ask for a sweep but she said they won't do it if he's not engaged. Ho hum. Have also developed a very itchy rash on my belly. I've googled and it looks like 'polymorphic eruption of pregnancy'. It doesn't seem to be a problem, although is spreading. I'm going to boots today to hopefully get some cream to ease the itching.

Poppyseeds, yay for last week, enjoy.
IDC, enjoy your child free few days.
PC, how lovely for MIL to feel baby move.
JT, it will be worth it in the end! Hope the MW goes well.
PW, hope the itching eases and baby is heading in the right direction.
AFM, two weeks today till D-day! Have an under the weather 3 year old this morning, although he seems to be perking up a bit. Off to my parents today so my dad can help me out with car stuff, need a couple of new tyres and air con recharging. Not a lot planned other than that this week, might pop to town and maybe take the boys swimming one day, other than that I have a stack of housework to get through.

PoppySeeds – hope your last week working doesn’t drag.
IDC – hope you’re enjoying some child free time.
Popcorn – yay for MIL finally being able to feel it. Baby did this to my mum originally it was quite funny as you could sense her really wanting to feel it kick, so much so she squealed the first time she felt it.
Jellytot – I would be mean and just leave the mess for H to clean up when he gets back!
Bridget – hope all goes well with A’s appointment, like you say best to get it checked out. I think a lot of people don’t notice the BHs until they get stronger... I know I didn’t, unless I was touching my belly.
Pirate Wife – hope the itching eases up for you and baby has started to engage so you can get a sweep.
Margot – 2 weeks to go! Eeeek, won’t be long until baby is here.
Noodle – yay! Hope your pram arrives sooner today so you can have a play – just to test it out of course!
AFM – had a lovely weekend, until last night when I started feeling nauseous again. So I had an early night, but couldn’t get comfy and spent a lot of the night tossing and turning, well as much as I can do without being in too much pain. Still feeling a bit funny – but good enough to meet NCT ladies for lunch, get to meet some of the babies for the first time which is extra exciting!

PS – hope your last week at work is a quick one!
IDC – hope you’re enjoying the peace n quiet while it lasts!
Popcorn – this same thing keeps happening around my MIL, although I like to think my baby knows she’s constantly winding me up and just decides not to move for her! Haha
JT – the joys of DIY – you should my house at the moment, complete bombsite!
BG – Hope all goes well at the docs. So you’ve been having BH after all, I was wondering when I’d feel them, but maybe I won’t eh?!
PW – hope baby is engaged and the sweep gets things moving. Hope you get something for the itchy belly rash today!
Margot – Swimming first, housework later (if you still have the energy!)
Noodle – exciting times., hope you are enjoying your maternity leave so far!
Sapphire – hope you are feeling a bit better today… not long to go now!
AFM –This weekend we had a 21st birthday party, it was fun but my feet were so swollen after that I didn’t do any housework at all the rest of the weekend, mostly sat with my feet up, and my ankles seem to have reappeared!!
Babywise everything is fine, the wriggling has ramped up this weekend and it seems she never stops, but I love it…this weekend was the first time I specifically saw one wee body part as oppose to a general thump or wave, no idea what body part it was but it was very bizarre to see just the one little spot moving up and down haha.

BG hope the doctors appointment goes ok. And hope you have better weather than me if you're outside on the patio- the rain is so heavy here bouncing off the car roof and there's a huge river running down the street!
PW fingers crossed you can get a sweep
Margot- wow two weeks! Does it feel strange knowing the exact date?
Noodle- have fun playing with your new pram
Sapphire- I can't leave it for him to do. We've got a whole three story house which we're doing work on and as he's banned me from most jobs its the least I can do to help
MrsM I love seeing body parts sticking out , and prodding my belly to try to work out what the lumps and bumps are.
29/07/2013 at 12:57
PS - hope this week goes quickly for you and you get some much needed rest after.
IDC - make the most of your toddler free time.
PC - glad your mil got to feel baby move. yay to shorter weekd.
JT - hope mw goes well
BG - hope A is ok and you get lots done.
PW - hope he engages soon and your itchiness goes soon.
Margot - enjoy your swimming. I think we're going tomorrow so at least I can be weightless for a bit.
Noodle - hope you enjoy getting to play with the pram.
Saphhire - enjoy your baby cuddles.
Mrs M -those movements are so nice to watch. My mum was watching bump have a good old wiggle last night.
AFM- had my growth scan this morning. She is sitting nicely between the 50th and 95th centile so definitely not going to be another 11lber. Thankfully. In alot of pain today. Got a really sore back and was having low dull period type pains. Thought things were happening but no, still here. No plans for induction and Consultant just said we have to wait it now. Least I'm all ready for when it does happen. Planning on lots of little walks to try and help. I am done being pregnant now x

Just been rang to say I need iron supplements. Oh the joys, bet I get every side effect going! haha
29/07/2013 at 14:01
Ah Mrs Mack that's poo. Is your iron very low? Mine was borderline, but had another test last week and it had gone up to 11.something. I just took regular iron+vit C tablets, stopped drinking tea, drank more OJ and ate cereal every day.
Daisy - maybe your twinges mean it may be soon!
Sapphire -ooh nausea means it could be close now. My friend was sick the day before her baby was born!
BG - I have been getting BH without realising too. I don't recall having them before, but certainly my belly goes very hard sometimes, or I can feel a small twinge with it -moreso if I was lying quietly. I think it's been when I have been a bit overtired or dehydrated.
So far my toddler-free day has involved 1load of washing (which I now can't hang out as its stormy) and started going through my sons wardrobes and drawers sorting bits out. I'm not in a nesting mood at all so progress is very slow. I've never put his old stuff away 'properly', just shoved it into random bags so now I need to go through all of it and sort by sizes, Meh.
On the plus side, I have managed to sell some bits on Facebook and also listed my 'spare' pink lining changing bag on ebay.
Currently sat eating lunch and watching crappy tv!
29/07/2013 at 14:12
They didn't say, was just the receptionist who rang me and said to come pick up prescription. Will speak to MW at next appointment. Hoping they aren't too big or chalky, as I do not do well swallowing tablets - I'm a big baby! haha
