Its an early one from me for a change. I'm just awake with no chance of going back to sleep now.
L starts school today so I'm a bit excited and nervous all at the same time! But I get whole morning to myself today as she finishes at 1.30 - and it's like that every day this week, although on Friday I'm slightly busy ;)
The only thing I'm planning on doing this morning is getting my hospital bag packed now my case is down from the loft. Other than that nothing else planned. Baby is very active and I feel good. I had a good nights sleep for a change which makes all the difference.
Hello to all that follow.

Hi Poppy, I have a school starter today too. She is very excited but is only in until midday today so by the time I have walked home from the school it will be pretty much time to turn around and go back! My plan is to come home and listen to my hypnobirthing CD as I have been really slack at doing that this time. I have almost finished my hospital bag, just have last minute bits to put in now. Baby's bag is also there just about.
H finished painting the nursery yesterday and it is almost finished, just need to get a lampshade and blind. It made me really excited to see the cot built again and a change mat on the changing table!
Enjoy your last few days!!

PS - what a memorable week, waving one off to school and welcoming another into the world! Do get that bag packed then you can spend Tue-Thur chilling before the big day!
Noggin - good luck to your school starter too! Well done to your H for almost finishing the nursery.
AFM - due date is this week, argh! No sign of anything happening and ideally it'd be in the later half of the week when A is at nursery. I never really got the anticipation with A as I fully expected him to go over but he was 6 days early so took me by surprise. Now I'm analysing every little twinge, it's exciting but also I just want to know when!
Off to my friends for lunch today with her and her almost 2yo. Tonight we have 2 more houses to see so MiL is coming over to put A to bed.
09/09/2013 at 08:06
PS - exciting and emotional week ahead planned then! I hope you get plenty of time to relax for the next few mornings.
Noggin - which hypno CD have you got? I've got the rainbow relaxation one and listen to it every night as I go to bed - I never make it through to the end, but my hypno MW assures me it doesn't matter as I'm listening to it subconsciously. I always sleep better as well! I'd never have time to set aside 40 mins just to listen to it at any other time, but perhaps once I'm on maternity leave I will.
BG - enjoy your lunch! How were the houses over the weekend?
AFM, I have the return of the morning sickness feeling - not actually been sick yet (thank god) but feel close to it. I've forced some food and drink down though, fingers crossed it stays down! Still, just 4 more alarms to get up for and then I'm off. Hurrah! 34 week MW appt on Friday, looking forward to some position analysis! Kicks have moved down so I think maybe baby had started to engage, but not sure if it's a bit early. Heartbeat still low though (I have a home doppler and checked yesterday) and kicks are above belly button level still, so fairly sure we're still head-down.

Mrs 50's - we only saw one as the one yesterday rearranged to this evening. It was interesting, lots of garden, about 1/2 acre, and tons of downstairs space but the upstairs was a bit pokey and I'd want to change the layout of downstairs a bit. Lots of potential to extend if we ever needed/wanted to. But it's at the top of our budget so we wouldn't be able to do much, if anything, for a few years, or maybe 10+ years, so need to decide if we could live in it as is for an indefinite amount of time. I'm not sure.
Looking forward to seeing the two tonight.
I wouldn't worry about baby being too early to engage, of indeed they are, they can bob around down there for ages.

PS - sounds like you can have a relaxing few days, before you get busy again! Good luck to your little one at school, hope they enjoy it!
Noggin - sounds like your getting organised. Good luck to your little one at school too.
BG - sounds like a lovely day. Hopefully not long for you to wait now!
Mrs 50 - hope you're feeling better soon. Fx for head down at your appt on Friday
Afm - off to a toddler group with I and some friends today and then back to my friends for lunch. Bump feeling really tight recently and getting aches all over it, it's really taking it out of me!! Friend did the ring test on me yesterday and it was clearly showing a girl. Don't really believe in all that but me and H are convinced its a girl so we'll see. We will be very shocked if its a boy now!!

P.S and Noggin - How exciting to see your little ones go off to school today, although im guessing there may be some tears from you too?
BG - My goodness! Due date week. Exciting stuff! Hope the house viewings go well.
Mrs 50s - sorry to hear your morning sickness has returned. Hope your last few days of work go quickly. Fingers crossed for good baby position.
AFM - I'm trying to get plenty of rest before my hectic weekend of two weddings and lots of travelling, then will be returning to work for two full on weeks before im off for ML. I only normally work 2 days a week, so god help me when i will be working 5! Cannot believe i only have 8 weeks left until D-day! Where has the time gone?

Sorry, missed you Banzy
Enjoy toddler group and your lunch. x

Didn't make it on over the weekend, has anything progressed with Noodle, or does she still need baby out vibes?
09/09/2013 at 08:53
PS- Big changes for you this week! A school starter and a new baby arriving, how exciting!
Noggin- Would love a nursery flash when it's all finished. Sounds like you have had a productive weekend. Good luck to your new school starter today.
BG- Enjoy your lunch today. I know what you mean about being taken by surprise. I am convinced I am going over my due date so if she comes before it will come as a huge shock! Hope things start towards the end of the week for you.
Mrs50s- Jealous of your 4 more alarm get ups (although I will still be getting up at the same time as H is useless in the mornings!). My next MW appt is next Friday and I will be hoping for some clue on what position baby is in as I have no idea!
Banzy- Will be interesting to see what flavour you have when he/she arrives. Have a lovely day.
AFM- After 2 weeks of having no doors on both bedrooms we now have doors! But not handles just yet.. Friday evening saw a trip to Ikea, Saturday was spent getting odd jobs done (hair cuts, car washed etc) then to visit my Mum and H's grandad and dad. Yesterday H's dad came round to help hanging the doors, then took SD and dog off our hands while we carried on. They are looking so much better already even though they aren't finished or painted. Going to price up some alcove shelving for downstairs today as this is one of the last jobs that will need doing. H is pricing up the cost of a fitted wardrobe for what will be the childrens room too so it is finally all coming together!
09/09/2013 at 08:58
Not seen anything from Noodle, hoping her absence is because she's enjoying newborn cuddles, if not, a bucket load of baby out vibes heading her way.
09/09/2013 at 09:04
MS- Missed you! Definitely get lots of rest while you can, sounds like you are going to be a busy bee over the next few weeks!
09/09/2013 at 10:05
Sam - will definitely do a nursery flash when it's finished. The walls looks really bare so I think I'm going to have a look for some nice wall stickers. H says we just need some pictures but I think the stickers really complete the room so I'll just get them and stick them up when he's at work!
Mrs 50's - yes it's the Marie Mongan Rainbow Relaxation that I've got. My H always asks what colour I got to before falling asleep - this will really be the first time I've been able to listen to it during the day. I've not got work to think about and should be able to get pretty relaxed so my plan is to try and do it everyday when the girls are at school, hopefully then I'll be pretty practised at it by D-day.
I can't believe it - when I first went on mat leave with K 6 years ago I used to watch Homes under the Hammer. I've just turned the TV on and guess what - it's still bloomin' on! Cute house though.... ;)
Hope to hear news from Noodle soon!

PS - hope L enjoys her first day at school, big exciting week for you! Enjoy a few days of rest before Friday if you can :)
Noggin - good luck to your LO for starting school as well!
BG - enjoy lunch and the house viewings later...could be your turn next ooh!
Mrs50s - oh return of MS is not good, I have been feeling queasy for the last few days as well but fingers crossed it hasn't come to anything for me and won't for you either.
Banzy - I am also convinced we are having a girl, might try some of the old wives tales later like the ring trick to see if it supports my theory. Have fun at your toddler group.
MS - wow you're really ramping up over the next few weeks, you will definitely have earned your maternity leave by the time it comes round!
Sam - nice that you're so organised in the house, it's lovely to have all of those little annoying jobs that have hung around for ages all ticked off.
AFM - I reckon H's work party on Saturday knocked the stuffing out of me. I could hardly get up yesterday, then after I'd been up for a couple of hours, I had a 2 hour nap! Still feeling shattered today but thankfully not much planned. Going for coffee with NCT ladies today, first time we've met up since the class and I'm looking forward to it, they were a lovely bunch. Then just more cleaning for Operation Nesting and finishing packing my hospital bag I think. Miserable weather here today, was hoping to get some baby clothes washed and out on the line but don't think that's going to happen :(
09/09/2013 at 10:17
Oh forgot to say hope that Noodle has progressed and has her little bundle now, if not, lots of Baby Out vibes x

09/09/2013 at 10:47
Aw hey Noodle, sorry things haven't started for you yet, there's still time. If not, and you go in for your induction, at least you are going to be meeting your baby soon regardless of how - try to keep focused on that xxx
09/09/2013 at 10:53
PS and Noggin, enjoy your alone time! Hope your little ones enjoy their first days at school :o)
BG, hope the time doesn't drag for you this week! Enjoy your lunch and house viewing! :)
Mrs50s, hope the sickness subsides :(
Banzy, enjoy your day. My bump is very achey at the moment, just very heavy and sore :o(
MSimpson, 2 wedding?! Make sure you rest lots! x
Sam, nesting are we? hehe. Sounds like you are very busy! Look after yourself x
Popcorn, hope you are feeling less shattered soon. I am finding that if I overdo it too much now then I am so tired and I am only 28 weeks! Enjoy your coffee! :)
Noodle, lots and lots of baby out vibes heading to you! xx
Afm, had a bit of a worry last night when I was getting some quite bad period type pains. They were quite regular at one point and sore. Had a bath and they seemed to ease, nothing since. There were no tightenings and baby was going crazy when they were happening. All seems ok now though.
Nothing else to report really, should get my GTT results today, the school run killed me this morning, it's a 30 minute walk each way at the moment as I am so slow lol. May get a bus down the road tomorrow morning just to give myself a break from it. Roll on Thursday when OH can take him!
C 28+4 :o)

Noodle sorry there is no sign of baby yet. Enjoy your last day
Chimp glad the pains have gone, try and take it easy
AFM meant to be doing housework but am putting it off. Wishing I had some cake or biscuits in the house to have with a cup of tea.
09/09/2013 at 16:36
Well I had drama at our first NCT meet! One of the girl's waters broke in the middle of Costa! She's on her way to hospital now, eek!
Chimp glad the pains have eased off, must've been a bit scary.
JT oh dear, no cake or biscuits? No incentive to do any housework imo!
