Morning ladies, hope all is well
H, LO and I are getting train to Birmingham today to go to Frankfurt Christmas market (in Brum). I go every year - usually meet my Mum there - but H feels like he has missed out somewhat!! Think he is for shock taking toddler with us. LOL. We met / used to live in Germany so looking forward to being all nostalgic.
Pretty sure I'm going to be exhuasted given i'm 37+5 .... oh well!!

Horsefan - enjoy the market but take it easy. I really want to go to a real German market one year.
Custard - you're right, we definitely need some BAs soon. I hope you'll make it til your panto though!
Afm - had a great weekend buying baby stuff and doing jobs. Got a pretty busy week at work which doesn't fill me with joy but hopefully it'll make the time fly.

HF- enjoy the market! Dont overdue it and take lots of food and drink stops! :-P
Custard- we definitely need some BA's now! Christmas is fast approaching!
Little Dude- hope work isn't too bad. Glad you had a nice weekend!
AFM- nothing to report! :-( baby is far too comfy in there to make an appearance on DD tomorrow! Had lots of twingers and "ooh ahh, ouch" moments but nothing has come of them! Midwife thursday and then a sweep next tuesday if still nothing.

there is two threads - i poseted this on the other one!
Morning Custard - not long now hun, the end is in sight, however i feel like i have had enough now and im not even 30 weeks until friday so god knows how I will be in 8 weeks time! hope you had a nice weekend
AFM - another busy weekend out doing christmas shopping bits, i went to see an aunty at the weekend who i havent seen for about 4 years and she have me so much baby stuff it was beyond a joke, so so lovely of them but i have no idea what i am going to do with it all, im talking Giant teddy, about 15 baby grows, 5 blankets, Nappies, 4 cardigans, snow suit, 12 vests! and loads of other bits like socks and mittens etc! I was so overwhelmed! seems such a shame as it is all newborn and the baby is only going to be in it 5 mins!
anyway my Physio cancelled on me last week so i have to wait until monday to see them but this SPD is getting so bad! i'm struggling to walk for to long i am not sleeping at all, really hope the next ten weeks hurry up xx

Feeling a bit meh after midwife. Baby is still only 1/5 engaged. She has booked me in for a stretch and sweep next monday and one the following friday. She said if I make it to the friday sweep, she'll book me in for an induction on boxing day, booooo!

HF - I bet you will be tired, hopefully it will be worth it though to get in the christmas spirit?
Custard - Hopefully you won't have to wait much longer for baby to arrive (hopefully not at the panto though :)
LD - Glad you had a productive weekend, yes hopefully a busy week will make the weekend come quicker. When are you finishing work?
Gemini - Hopefully your BA will be soon!
NLH - Wow you did well with the gifts! I'm hoping people won't give us too much newborn stuff as I have a lot of hand me downs already.
Mrs Bass - Hopefully the sweep will work and you have baby before boxing day! My friend was induced on boxing day so luckily she got to enjoy christmas before baby arrived.
AFM - Had a busy weekend so knackered now, finding that I definitely can't do as much as I used to now. I think I'll be able to relax more once the house is finished but a lot of that is out of my control. H doesn't seem in too much of a hurry to finish jobs before christmas either, theres only so much nagging I can do!!
Anyway roll on hometime :)

HF hope you have a great time at the christmas markets and don't get too achy.
Custard I hope baby shows up before the panto!
Gemini I'm sending you lots and lots of 'baby out' vibes. C'mon baby!
NLH sorry that your SPD is giving you grief :-(
Mrs Bass that's a shame about baby only being 1/5 engaged. Did she give you any exercises to do to help get baby into position, does bouncing on a ball help? If it's any consolation you don't want baby to be more engaged for too long, mine is 4/5 engaged and moving any part of my pelvis is flippin' painful!
Mrs V I'm sure your hubby will get the jobs done quicker as your due date approaches, I think it's a man thing to not feel the pressure until the end.
I'm knackered today, got loads of jobs to do. I'm finding it hard to get around now as I'm just so achy round my hips and pelvis so all my chores are taking three times as long. I went to the doctors to try and get an appointment with the midwife but she's fully booked this week. I've got an appointment to see her next week but I wanted to go this week as well after last week's, 'baby is breech, oh no he isn't', fiasco, because due to all that happening I didn't get a chance to ask her about anything else. In particular, I think I lost a fair chunk, or possibly all of, my mucus plug at 35+6, which was 12 days ago, and everything I've read indicates that labour may start within 14 days of this happening - or, it might be a few weeks yet. I kinda want to know if I'm dilated or not, whether I need to be more concerned about potential infections etc. I called the hospital at the time and they said to watch out for my waters breaking but that obviously didn't happen. So do you think I need to call the midwife instead, this week, or just be patient and wait for next week?

MrsV-that is a positive way of looking at it, at least i would get xmas at home! I know the annoyance of having a H not in too much of a rush!
Penny- no she didn't and I don't have a ball! Best start on the curries and pineapple!
I fully expected to go over and to be induced but now it all seems a bit real!

Mrs Bass you should combine both methods into one and have a pineapple curry! Yum :-)
