any news from counter? Hope you are cuddling your little one as I type!
I think being overdue got to me yesterday and I had a little cry. Sounds silly as I'm only now two days over bit with everyone calling and texting all the time and being uncomfy etc I just want to meet my little girl! Have midwife on Wesnesday so hopefully will do a sweep then. My friend is coming to see me today so looking forward to seeing her. Today was my original due date before scan so maybe things will kick off today... Or not lol.
hope everyone had a good weekend.

Morning Bertie, I assume BLL will be on at some point to update us on Counter. Sorry you're so down about being overdue, I think everyone gets that way. I know I will! Hopefully things happen soon for you, I have everything crossed!
AFM, not much happening. Going up into town to meet some of my moms friends for coffee. They've come over to visit friends of theirs and very kindly brought a suitcase of stuff for me from my mom- my doll collection from when I was a little girl . Hi to everyone who follows (or I've missed!)

Counter I hope baby Baxter is here now!
Bertie enjoy seeing your friend, I hope it distracts you for a while.
Trifle nice that your folks can help out today, give you a bit of a rest. Good luck for tomo!
AFM I had an awesome weekend. Caught up on some sleep, plus saw lots of friends and generally ate lots of nice food! Got a fairly steady day at work today too so hopefully not too much rushing around. I might even try and go swimming at lunch time. We'll see!

Missed you there Wispa, that's lovely that you'll see your mums friends. And get your doll collection! Are you going to pass them onto baby?
Trifle I reckon by lunch time my energy might have waned but we'll see!

Back to pick up where I left off quickly.
Trifle, are yr parents a good help? I know my mom would be, but my dad? Haha. Good luck for tomorrow, nothing to worry about!
Imp, plan is to pass the dolls to Holly Jolly, but for the minute the trouble is finding somewhere for them to go! A good weekend can make such a big difference, glad you're feeling bright and energetic today, and I hope you do get your swim.

Bertie - Hope things get a move on for you soon! Don't think people think before texting sometimes!
Trifle - Hope you have a nice day :)
Wispa - Sounds like you have a nice day planned!
Imp - Glad you had a lovely weekend, it really does make you feel better when things just go right :)
AFM - Didn't manage to get on over the weekend, been very busy but productive! Lots of walking the dog, swimming, ordering our pushchair and putting away all of babies clothes and things! My legs are feeling a bit sore today though, but was nice to be out enjoying the nice weather! Very excited to have the nursery all coming together and the pram on order, is all becoming very real now!

Woo I just had my bloody show, sorry for tmi!
Trifle, enjoy time with your parents. Hope midwife goes ok tomorrow :)
Wispa, how lovely, what sort of dolls are they?
Imp you sound energetic today! Your weekend sounds lovely. As does a swim today!

Vix missed you there, sorry. Your weekend does sound very productive, it's great getting things done isn't it. Which pram did you go for?
14/04/2014 at 09:02
Vix, very exciting to have the pram ordered and everything coming together. Seconding Bertie's question as to which one you went for!
Woo, Bertie exciting times ahead!! Bloody show should mean something very very soon, tons of vibes for you! The dolls are American Girls dolls. My mom started getting them for me when we lived in the states, and they were girls from periods of American history, with period costumes and stories. I'm not American, my daughter won't be ?American, but they're lovely dolls with adorable outfits. I'm probably going to brush their hair and dress them up when I bring them home today, haha.

Bertie - Yay for TMI :) I think this week will be your week!
Bertie/Wispa - We have gone for the Babystyle Oyster Max in black. We go away in our camper a lot so wanted a carry cot that was ok for overnight sleeping and the Oyster Max is one of the few that are apparently! Plus all the bits come apart which makes it easier for loading into the car when you have no measurable upper body strength like me!

Bertie - sorry you were feeling so down. Hope you have a nice time with your friend.
Trifle - good luck for the MW tomorrow.
Imp - glad you had such a great weekend :)
Wispa - hope you have a lovely day and how wonderful to be getting your doll collection!
Vix - wow! What a productive weekend! It must be great to be getting so organised!
AFM - working today, last day of a 6-day week. I'm very much looking forward to my days off! Seeing the MW first thing tomorrow morning then popping down to see SIL and the children for a bit. Hopefully the sun will shine!

Vix yay for the pram and it sounds as though you've had a lovely weekend too.
Wispa enjoy playing with the dollies!

Bertie, yay for the show, hopefully things will be happening soon for you. Enjoy your day with your friend.
Trifle, hope you have a fun day with the parents, and that everything goes well with the mw tomorrow.
Wispa, enjoy your coffee and playing with the dolls! Are they to be played with by Holly Jolly or put away until she can look after them properly? My mum had a doll collection when we were little as my grandad travelled loads and brought one back from everywhere, but we were never allowed to play with them as they were a bit delicate, and we always wanted to!
Imp, yay for a nice weekend, and hope you have a relaxing day at work and a good swim if you've still the energy to go come lunchtime!
Vix, sounds like a very active weekend, good for you for staying busy. Yay for having the nursery come along, and the pram ordered, it all feels so real when you get to that stage!
Ix, Enjoy your well earned rest! I hope the weather stays nice for you.
AFM, had a nice weekend overall. Poo night's sleep last night unfortunately, but at least it's not every night. I'm working my penultimate Monday today - I've 2 1/2 weeks left at work, but I only do 3 days normally, and no Monday next week for the bank holiday, so I've only got 6 acutal work days left after today. Generally work days are far more relaxing than home days, but once I finish J is staying in nursery so I'll have whole days free and to myself! I'm quite looking forward to getting on with some baby stuff, Attila is still a highly neglected baby, but once I'm finished I'll start getting clothes down and washing and sorting. If I can find somewhere to put them, J is still in the nursery and will be for some months to come, so Attila has no space for her things yet. Really must work out what we're doing soon!
Baby out vibes to Bertie, Trifle, and I can't wait to hear about Counter, hopefully she's having lots of snuggles by now.
