Morning ladies! Monday already. Not fair!
Isis, you must be relieved to be moving on. Enjoy your bloom! See you there in the very, very distant future lol.
Mrs V - make the most of the bank holiday :)
WE - report back on the ballet lesson, I hope she loves it.
I spent yesterday daytime in bed, but then we went and bought loads of food I felt I could eat (sausage rolls, baguette, cheese, crisps, nachos) and had a double bill movie night. The sinusitis is definitely better than it was. We're off to Canterbury to look for curtains and to buy Harry a couple of suits as he starts 6th form soon. He didn't get the grades he needs for his subjects, but he got a place, so that's a big relief. And he starts part-time work next week too! Feeling all emotional about my baby growing up!!
Hope you all enjoy the rest of the BH weekend :D

Isis I can't believe that's you off to 2nd tri! It's been lovely being a tri buddy with you and I shall catch you up in about 9 days!
Mrs V enjoy your bank holiday! It's not one here in Glasgow (unless you work for an english company) but I do get a Friday/Monday bank holiday next month so can't complain! How has the secret keeping been going? Only a few weeks till your 20 weeks scan.
WE - sounds like a great day planned all in all! Hope the ballet goes well!
Counter glad to hear that the sinusitis is easing off. Loving the food shop! Sounds right up my street (except for the sausage roll....linda mccartney does some good veggie ones mind you). That's great about Harry! He'll look so smart in his suit! What job did he get? Good for him! H's son never worked and at 20 still doesn't. I have a lot of respect for teenagers who do!
AFM - I've been hit by the tired stick!!!! I spend most of 1st tri feeling great and *thinking* I was a bit tired. Well that's nothing like the fatigue that has now descended. I keep feeling the need to lie down every couple of hours!! Ha ha! Not too easy while at work! I've started telling colleagues my news today which is lovely and my best friend turned up at the house out of the blue on Saturday night with her 6 year old (also my godson) with a big bunch of flowers and a goodie bag with chocolates, magazines (inc mum & baby ones), sweeties etc. She is so excited it's so heartwarming! She knows it's been a looong 12 months I've been waiting for this pregnancy!

Afternoon all. My phone is being a nightmare so I can't scroll up for personals but wanted to say bye to Isis and mrs v r this week I'm so jealous of you moving into second tri!! Its been fab having h off for three days so I can have a bit if time to chill out. The exhaustion has really been getting to me. last week of holidays bfore im back to school next week. my tummy is seriously growing!! Not sure if it's bloating or all the food I'm snacking on but I know it can't be baby!! Eating is hard going as the thought o it is repulsive but it's the only thing that keeps me able to function.

I'm so it's way too late to reply, but I'm gunna!
SP, that's so lovely to get such enthusiasm and warmth. You must be loving it! Not good about the fatigue. It's just not fair! Here we are, working hard to make precious little ones and the whole thing is so blooming difficult/tiring!
AR - sorry you're tired. Must be hard with little one but glad you're getting a rest this weekend. Re the food: I'm massive :( Had a real 'moment' in two stores whilst trying things on today. I'm so angry at myself for putting on so much weight (it's that for me!) and I know if I cut back on the constant eating I'll be home in bed and simply unable to go to work. I'm hoping I can reign it in during 2nd tri and lose some of this. It's getting me down! I bought a black woolly skirt in Next today. Should accommodate a 6 month bump at least!
SP: we got him a great suit in BHS for £69. But really struggled to find size 13 shoes. He's got a job in the local supermarket, in clothing. 16 hours a week for £80. I've never been generous with pocket money so he's going to feel RICH. I've been so frustrated that he's not had a job before now. I had a paper round at 12, factory job at 13, then factory and supermarket job simultaneously at 16. Funnily enough he'll be at the supermarket I worked at as a student. Which is where I met his dad, my ex-husband. And where he still works, 21 years later - which blows my mind!! I'd go round the twist in the same place for that long :)
