afm, not much to report, we told our BIL our news this weekend and they were over the moon for us. Dreamt about our scan all night last night so feeling tired today. 8 days to go!

Morning MrsL, how lovely you got a great reaction to your news. 8 days will soon fly by!

AFM, LO finally seems to over his bug thankfully, although I think H might be coming down with it now. I hope I don't get it! Our weekend was pretty boring really, couldn't do much with F still poorly on Saturaday but we did make it out for a walk to get some fresh air. So 14 weeks for me today, I suppose I'd better venture over to 2nd tri! I'll still be posting here today too and will see you all soon :-)

AFM - sorry not on over weekend. We have started packing and in the process H managed to break the broadband! Still feel nauseous and knackered but panic if I don't!

GB - totally normal to feel like that. I know I still feel reassured if I feel sick! I hope the remaining of the packing goes trouble free!

AFM - My day off! :) Im feeling a bit run down so I plan to take it easy today. May pop to town later, really need to find maternity trousers. I hate trouser shopping at the best of times, I hope this turns out to be fairly simple.

RF - I really hope the bleeding settles soon so that you can relax a bit and enjoy your holiday. I only really had a brief bleed but I'm constantly paranoid about it starting steam, it's hard to switch off from it, isn't it?

Boo - I keep forgetting you're at exactly the same stage as me! I made the jump across to 2nd tri, come join us :-) Hope you're feeling less run down soon, I managed to pick up a lovely cough at the hospital last week, sounds like I smoke 100 a day haha. I ordered some maternity jeans from New a Look last week and was really pleased with them, perhaps your store in town stocks maternity?

WG - i'm technically a few days behind you, i just haven't changed my ticker from our scan. My dates i'm 14 wks today, scan showed I'm 13 + 4. I'll dip my toe into 2nd tri later on in the week.. it's a scary move! haha

Ladies - meet baby pumpkin (yes there really is a baby growing inside me, it's not just in my head!!)

The sonographer said my bladder wasn't very full so wasn't sure if she'd get all the measurements that she needed but this little 1 was very well behaved & rolled into position & stayed quite still - reinforcing my idea that it a laid back boy! My scan was at 8.35 & we were in & out by 8.50 but then had to hang around nearly an hour for them to take a blood sample to test for downs. Still at least we were out in time to celebrate with a McDonalds breakfast!! Going by the measurements (must say the & not his!!) they've put me forward by 3 days so now 12+4.

Will now go back & read through the rest of the thread to do personals x x

Mrs L: Hope you manage to sleep ok this week, don't think I slept all week thinking about my scan!!

WG: So glad to hear that F is over his bug. Can't believe you're 2nd tri already, see you over there in a week & a bit!

GB: It's so hard isn't. With my 1st pregnancy I didn't have any symptoms & panicked, this time I've had lots of nausea & still worried. You can't win. Hope you have a good rest though

RF: Enjoy your holiday, hope your bleeding stops & you can enjoy your holiday x

Boo: Enjoy your day off, make sure you get some rest. I bought most of my mat clothes online as I got frustrated by finding hardly any high street shops that sold it. Appartently there wasn't the demand for maternity clothing!!!

AFM - I've had a busy weekend, what with going to a wedding, seeing family and following BIL's progress in the London Marathon. I've had a lazy day today but had a walk and ice cream down the beach. I've still got sore boobs, an achey tummy and feeling nauseous, so all good I guess! Oh, I've appeared to sport a mini bump which is ridiculous as I'm only 6 weeks!
