Probably no point to this post, but just feel like I could do with some advice from others who have been there.
Some days I'm really struggling with sickness. Its not even like I'm constantly throwing up (although will feel like I need to after most things I eat, and have been sick a couple of times most days). This morning I really struggled to get out of bed after spending all night feeling ill, and getting myself into work was such a challenge! Did any of you ever end up having to take time off for sickness? I honestly could have not come in today, but then I don't know how worse it will get. I was nearly crying getting ready (such a drama queen) as the thought of getting through the day without just being in bed was that painful! Ha! Any tips for me? Sundays seem to be the worst day - I think its because I'm sitting around doing nothing (not distracting myself?).
As for food aversions - gosh, I fancy hardly anything. I am eating so unhealthily. I'm struggling with finding things to eat that aren't rolo yoghurts or chips. Do I just need to eat what I can and not worry? I guess mainly I'm worried that eating unhealthily won't be helping the sickness.
I'm not complaining about symptoms, as I'll put up with anything for a healthy baby, but wondering if anyone has any tips for me to try to make day to day a little more easy sometimes.

Thanks Autumn. I'm the same with meat - particularly chicken, which is usually my favourite :( I'm obviously managing to hold down enough still as I've put on 2lb in 3 weeks, but its just unpleasant having your head down the toilet so much. Thanks for the tip - I've had some biscuits by my bed, I was eating them at about 3am this morning as felt so rough. Hope this is just a first tri experience! :) x

Hi pep, I was lucky I had no physical throw up but I lost 7lbs in a week due to lack of eating. Which is good for my waist line but not for baby. I switched pregnancy vitamins and found a dramatic difference - might be worth a try? For my worst week I lived off jam sandwiches and Heinz soup. It is just a first tri thing, now I'm 13+5 I have no nausea at all. Well, I have a sore throat/cough so I do feel sick but think it's from coughing too hard not pregnancy. I posted a similar post when it was at its worst and was told just eat whatever you can. I also found eating every 2 hours was a must. Kept it at a medium nausea level. Even if you aren't hungry, munch on something. It'll feel like there's no end in sight but it really does fly by. H swore blind we will never have another baby because I was so miserable but now we barely even remember how bad it was lol
Out of curiosity how far a long are you now it's at its worst? I was 6+4 when it hit me like a tonne of bricks.

Wishful, thanks for your reply. I had thought of changing my vitamins - the only thing is because of my shocking diet at the moment, I'd be concerned about going to folic acid only. I'm taking pregnacare at the moment, maybe I could just try moving to a different brand and see if that helps.
I'm 7+2, the sickness mainly hit from 6+1 so I'm only one week into it! I had nausea before that, but now its sickness too which is the bit I guess I'm struggling the most with.

It was pregnacare that I struggled with. I also had sickness when taking pregnacare conception. Have you received your bounty pack yet? That has a 7 day sample of seven seas vitamins.
It is weird how week 6 hits you, I felt like I was just super lucky and got away with no sickness during the first two weeks, how wrong I was lol
