I think I might just have started losing my mucus plug but I'm not sure. I suddenly just felt very wet, when I looked there was at least an egg cup full of gooey looking stuff. The bit that confused me was it's creamy rather than a greeny colour and it was quite wet and lumpy, however it did have browny streaks in it. Does it sound like a mucus plug or a gush of discharge.
I'm at hospital in the morning so it'd be useful to have an idea.
Thanks in advance x
UPDATE- Been seen at hospital today and they thought it was the plug but seemed unconcerned and just warned me to come straight in with the merest hint of labour starting. They did a scan and she's weighing 7lb 12oz at 36w4d so they're happy she's doing well and if I go into labour they'll bring forward the section. Thanks for all your advice and support.

Sounds like it could be your mucus plug. Mine was red & bloody rather than creamy or green & about the size of a 50p but I think everyone's is different.
So excited for you though x x

Thanks or all your advice. I'm not panicking because I've read it can take weeks after you lose the plug before labour starts, which would put me at nearly 39 weeks. I just want to update the consultant because I know they want certain people in the room for my C Section as it's expected to be complicated, so it might make them alter the planed date from 39w5d to something earlier. I'd rather have her a few weeks earlier with the Obstetrician, Paediatrician and Anaesthestists that know me and my history in the room, than go into labour in the middle of the night and have people rushing around panicking which is what usually happens when I see different people.

Ok, glad to hear you're not panicking, I only lost my plug after a stretch & sweep & had my daughter 2 days later!! That's why I was slightly concerned! I only have my own exprience to go by but glad it means you still have time. Take care & keep us posted x
