Thanks for your vibes on the other threads in TTC yesterday!
How're the twins getting along? Is Dexter all excited to be getting 2 brothers or does he 'get' it yet?

You're welcome. I'm always thinking about you ladies on TTC.
Twins are doing okay. Their growth is tailing off a bit now though. They have ruled out the possibility that it could be the placenta dis-functioning and are now wondering if it could be a genetic abnormality. We had this about a month ago too. But we've decided to wait and see how their growth looks further down the line before doing any amniocentesis.
Dexter doesn't fully get it. I think it will be quite a shock to him when they are here. But when I point to my belly and say "what's in here?" he signs "babies" and then gives them a kiss and cuddle. So cute!
Other than TTC, how are things with you?

I remember seeing some of your updates on BT about the twins but I don't recall this - what's happened? What will the next steps be? Are you ok with it all?
That does sound cute - I guess he's still a little young yet to be understanding what it all means!
All grand really - got a promo at work so fairly busy with that.

There are just a few things that are making them wonder if the twins have some sort of genetic abnormality. The most common being Downs Syndrome. But we've decided to wait a few more weeks to keep an eye on that through the two weekly scans before going forward with amniocentesis, since it increases risk of miscarriage and premature birth.
Glad to hear you are doing well. xx

Ahh I see, I hope everything is ok and the twins continue to thrive.
I have a nephew with Down's - his name is Séan and he's just gone 1 since October x
