Isobelle is nearly 16 months & she only has 6 teeth (2 in Jan at 11 months, 2 in Feb at 12 months & 2 in March at 13 months). A lot of people have said to me that when teeth are late coming through you then get loads all at the same time. My understanding is that the majority of toddlers have all 20 teeth by the time they're 2 but that doesn't seem likely now! I can feel a few raised bumps & we've had a few interrupted sleeps recently which could be teething related.
I was just wondering when other people's toddlers teeth have come through.

IIRC, Joshua had 4 teeth by his first birthday and Jacob had 8. Both had a full set by 2.5 but I'm fairly sure the last molars were still coming through at 2.

Thanks Margot. How are you doing btw? Hope all is going well x

L had nearly all his teeth by 16 month, Isaac has 10. Isaacs seem to take forever to grow, Ls would pop the gum then be almost fully grown the week after. L certainly had all his by 2 but I'm sure some friends los were still getting molars as they turned 3

Zoe was the opposite end of the scale. Woke up with 2 teeth on her 6 mth birthday and then had a full set by 12 mths.

Isla is 18 months and has 12 teeth. Her canines have just pierced the gum (top and bottom). My understanding is that most children cut their second molars at around 2. I wouldn't worry too much x

Lucy will be 2 in 7weeks and has 8 top teeth but only 6 bottom teeth.....

W is almost 18 month and has 10.
Two on the bottom , 4 on the top ( although they don't seem to have come through much) and two top molars two bottom molars. She didn't get her first tooth until 11 month. She's never had any pain ( touch wood) , even with the molars. She's very reluctant to let you look in her mouth so the only way I know about a new one is by tipping her upside down and tickling her do her mouth is open when she laughs!
While we are on the subject of teeth- when did you first take them for a dental check up? She's already registered but I don't see much use in taking her as she never let's anyone look in her mouth. But am I bad for not taking her yet? Should she have been for a check up by 18 months?

O is 19 months and has 11 teeth. 5 of which have come through in the past 2 months. I think there's quite a few more on their way through at the moment too.

JT, Isla's had two dental checkups so far one when she was around 6 months (she had two teeth) and the other last month. She goes when I have my appointments and they just add an extra 5 mins on to my appointment. I think it's good to get them used to the environment even if they don't/can't look in their mouths for long!

I don'y know ANY children who had all 20 by the age of 2. J had all hers by 2.5, S was nearly 3.

O has all of his now as the last molar came through in about March. He would have been 2 years, 4 months.

O is 15 months and has 6 too

C didn't have any until 9 1/2 months and at 3 yrs 2 months still has 3 back molars to come through. My teeth were late coming through and I didn't lose my front ones until I was 9, so think she's going to be the same. S is 6 1/2 months and no signs of any yet.

Liz's holly has 17, she's the same age as I and I, I think ses literally had multiple teeth develop every few weeks, L was very similar to holly and they'd pop up all the time whereas Isaac really seems to suffer, like it takes ages to pop through and then he still has discomfort after,

R is 15 months and has 6 too and has done since about 11 months, am expecting him to get a few through together.

Thanks ladies, I'm not worried, just interested to know other people's experiences. Having had a feel around (easiest done whilst putting teething gel on & occasionally she'll let me look) there are definitely lots getting ready but then again I was expecting her 1st tooth from feeling raised gums from 6 months!

O is 13.5 months and has 12 (and has all 4 canines just under gums *pass the caffeine iv*) He got his 1st two just before 6 months, then 4 together, another 2 together, followed by all 4 molars in the space of 3 days! He's been an all in one go boy which people think is great, but not me...he has REALLY suffered and been v v poorly each time ..hope the bastards are done with soon!

J is 2.5 next month and his final 4 molars are breaking throigh at the moment - taking forever to come through!
