P has had a bit of diarrhoea which has bern gone for about 4 days since the doctor put her on gaviscon. She has 3 or 4 bright red very sore looking patches/spots right next to her bottom hole that dont seem to be going with airing/sudocreme. Has anyone had any experience of this and any tips to get it to go?

Another vote for Metanium. E had nappy rash so bad that it was bleeding and she screamed at every nappy change. We now have the yellow one in reserve and the white Metanium barrier cream for everyday use x

Metanium is the king of nappy rash cream. We use sudocrem for everyday and the break out the met if/when she gets sore.

M has awful nappy rash and nothing has worked for him. As we have to put cream on him daily, we are using Weleda Camomile Cream (it smells amazing too!) and are switching to cloth nappies. Bepanthen used to work wonders on E's bottom though.
