im wondering if anyone can share tips to get rid of nausea? This is driving me mad. Of course, I'm over the moon it means the bean in my belly is doing what it should be, but I feel awful.
Ive not actually been physically sick, but heaving and feeling sick all of the time. Any smell of food turns my stomach. It's dreadful. I'm 6 + 3 at the mo. It's only going to get worse right?
I drink ginger tea in the morning which seems to help. Trouble is, I'm abroad at the moment. I could murder a packet of ready salted hula hoops. But, sure enough. Nothing of the sorts here. (I'm in turkey). OH has seen nothing like it in his life. I usually love food. Any waft of it now turns me green. I've got the bands but they don't seem to help either.
suppose this has turned more into a rant than a question asking post. Sorry ladies.Xx

Full fat fizzy juice, particularly irn bru and lucozade. I lived on them til about 10 weeks. Also, lots of sleep...nap nap nap...always eased it for me.

For me it was pretty much eating constantly that helped. Anything plain.
I know what its like to be abroad and be sick. Just after my BFP we went to vietnam for 2.5 weeks. I spent the last 4/5 days in bed being sick! It was so hard to find anything I could eat. I lived on chips, crisps and coke! When I got back I used to snack on anything plain - breadsticks, crisps, biscuits etc. I ate so much! I was still sick but it meant I could get through work. X

The only that cures my nausea is carbs. Bread, crisps etc. I've found fizzy drinks ho a bit too, I've been mixing sugar free squash with fizzy water to avoid too much sugar or caffeine.
Sorry you're feeling so rough x

Thanks guys. I think it won't be half as bad once I get home. I feel terrible that I'm wishing this holiday away. I would give anything to have a trolly dash round tescos and put my bum on MY sofa. Hormones all over the shop, I could easily cry thinking about home. What a narna.
Browny, It's been difficult knowing what I can and can't eat out here too. Just woken up from a 3 hour nap. It seems to be the only thing that doesn't make me feel ill. Goodness knows what I'm going to do when I go back to work.
Rod I love the idea of sugar free squash with fizzy water. I'll definitely be doing that when I get home.
