I've recently found out I'm pregnant after a year trying with my husband we are over the moon. But something happened last week that has sent me crazy my scan got put back by 2 weeks now because no one has confirmed it apart from myself I keep worrying i'm not pregnant or i'm going to go to the scan and they won't be able to see anything, I know this sounds crazy but I have done a pregnancy test everyday for the past 30 days all very much positive I don't know why I'm worrying myself like this

Congratulations! Just breathe! Take life a little easier if you're feeling panicky and paranoid, feet up and all that, time for just you as luckily you'll be sharing it soon. Stop buying tests and put the money aside for good use over the next few months. All tests look very much positive.Your body was built for this. Good luck xx

Hi, if you only recently found out then a scan at this point wouldn't show much at all and that's probably why its been pushed back so when you do go, there's actually something to see!
Scanning isn't perfect I went for my 20 week sacn today - I am 20+6, and I have to go back in 2 weeks as they couldn't get all the measurement s they wanted so even further along they struggle to see.
I would say that you are defo pregnant and to relax a while, take each milestone as it comes.
Best wishes xx

That's what we're here for x
early pregnancy is stressful enough so take some time to be good to youself and relax.
Drs don't usually do much for the first couple of months and midwife booking appt is anytime from 8 weeks so I wouldn't worry too much xx

Hiya. relaxing is easier said than done isn't it! I understand your worries. Please don't get too hung up over confirmation by a health professional. the majority of doctors wouldn't confirm a positive result by repeating a test in clinic. This used to be commonplace (when home pregnancy testing wasn't so sophisticated) but now a positive home pregnancy test (of which you are familiar with
Try to take it easy and as suggested, use your testing money for ante natal treats for you xxx

You could always pay for a private scan if you're anxious. It's what I'm doing as I feel really nervous about it all.

I did consider a private scan but the appointment is only 9 days away now so figured I may aswel wait. I just want it so much I don't want anything to go wrong I know being how I am now isn't helping so I'm just guna chill. Also get paranoid if one of my tests cones back fainter than before I think some things wrong

I felt like this at beginning of my pregnancy because my first one ended in m/c last December at 7 weeks, around 7 weeks this pregnancy I needed the reassurance that a baby was growing so doctors agreed to a hcg test and then I had my first scan at 10 weeks,I'm currently 26+6 and still have days of worry but you do get through it! It's very important to just focus on your health and just let your body take lead with the lil bean xx
