Hi Missl, your first drink of choice should really be water (around 2litres a day) but if you really fancy juice it won't do any harm. I had a period of craving orange juice and drank A LOT of that and baby H is fine.
What about drinking squash instead of water? That way you're still getting water.
The main thing is just not to get dehydrated because it can cause a fair few problems, not with baby, but with you - things like constipation etc.

Squash is fine - because it's still mainly water, just flavoured. To be honest,it's like I said in the other thread, your baby will take all it needs from you no matter what you eat/drink. It's good that you are trying to do what's best for baby though! x

fluids of any kind all count. Obviously avoid alcohol and limit caffeine.
Squash is actually diuretic so best bit to overdo it. Plain water will always be the best.
Dizzy spells are usually caused by low blood pressure rather than high and when I had this I was told to drink more In general and eat whenever to had a dizzy spell. Keep a snack in your bag
i wwould mention your concerns to your midwife. Nobody else can really give you the right advice for your situation.
Yoi really don't have to worry about juice unless you are drinking excessive amounts. And that is purely because of the amount of sugar in juice.
Hope you feel better

The main thing is to keep yourself hydrated but remember that drinking fruit juice/smoothies as opposed to squash can sometimes cause extra bowel movements/diaorrhea meaning you will need to drink even more fluids (you should be aiming for at least 8pints a day).
Squash, tea & coffee all contain water so still count as drinking water.
If you do become dehydrated it will be you that suffers before baby (baby will feed of your bodies reserves meaning you feel dizzy, sick, light headed & may even blackout/collapse). My experience of this with my eldest daughter meant I was admitted to hospital for a weekend to be fed water through a saline drip until my hydration levels were normal again. Typically your wee is a good indication, the darker your urine the more dehydrated you are. If you actually feel thirsty, you are already dehydrated.
