Hi. I have my scan tomorrow when I think I'll be around 11 weeks. I know the NHS website says they do NT tests from 11+2, but various others say 11. Does anyone know whether I'll be able to have the tests tomorrow (perhaps from their own experience?). Just can't see how much difference 2 days is going to make... But then what do I know! Thanks.

I think it may depend on the size of the baby. They have to be over a certain size to be able to take the measurement. I was at my scan today and the girl was saying this. She measured first and then said, yes, that would be fine to do today.
If they can't take it they will get you back again for another scan.

Ahh! That makes a lot more sense! Thanks CA.

The baby has to be over 45 mm I think. I measured at 11+2 and they managed to do mine.

When I was pregnant with W I was unsure of dates due to irregular cycles, so I ended up only being 10+5 at my scan. They said if I wanted the NT tests they would rebook me for a fortnight later. If I'd not wanted the test they would not have bothered re scanning me. Meant I got to see baby twice!
