I bathed my LO in oats today and it turned the water all nice and milky. after the bath his arms and legs were nice and soft but his back and sides of body was like sandpaper :-( he feels better now after plenty of moisturiser

Oat baths are fantastic arent they yoyo!
I gave L an Oat bath when she had chickenpox, it gave her such relief.
A friend told me to put oats in some pop socks and tie them off and add them to the water when running the bath. They absorb the water and once the bath was ready and LO is in it, gently squeeze the pop socks and rub the oat milk into their skin. It works wonders, and I did it myself a couple of times, my skin has never felt as soft.

I'm glad it was a partial success, keep it up and I'm sure it will continue to improve. You got onto that one fast, I'm glad it's working x

Think I'll try this tonight, what did you put the oats in? I might try an old pair of tights

I will keep going with it, I put the oats in a small laundry bag a mesh type bag with zip it's the ones you can put small things into the washer machine so an ideal size and I used it to rub over like a sponge :-) it has small holes for the water to run through but held all the oats in the bag
