Spent the day with H's family today and they come out with the oddest comments about P sometimes. Today we've had:
"Are you pleased with her?" - Erm well yes obviously! What do they expect us to say to that??
"Hasnt she got a nice head?" - ?!?!
"She will be talking in a few months" - well probably more like a couple of years!! When i said that the response was "well if she is behind in one area she will be good in another"!!
"Why would anyone want to hurt her?" - i find this an odd comment that lots of people say when they see a new baby. I dont get why the first thing people think about is babies being hurt?!
Just found those comments a bit odd!!

My mum is obsessed with the shape of babies heads - maybe it is a generational thing. The comment about hurting her I can kind of understand, you hear such awful things on the news and you are there infront of this epitomy of innocence and sometimes it really just does hit you, some babies won't be as lucky but how on earth can someone see a baby and hurt them.
The others though are bonkers.

Haha people do say odd things.
I've always got the "nice shaped head' thing about E too. I think it's due to her lack of hair!

Yeah i guess i can understand the bit about people hurting them.
I do think its a generational thing. They call the girls "little cocks" too which i really really hate!!

Yes, I've had lots of nice head comments too! I think largely because he was a forceps delivery so people expect a mangled baby!

My favourite was always "is he good?" .....no, he's out all hours painting the town red!

We get head shape comments. I'm guessing that there were lots of misshapen babies a generational or two ago?!
We also get lots of questions about where all her hair has come from. Erm, her scalp I'm guessing but haven't asked it yet!!

The are you pleased with her is the best one i've heard in a while! We got the 'is she good' classic all the time, never had 'nice head' though!

I've never had "nice head" type comments about my boys. Does that mean my boys don't have nice shaped heads?? Haha.
With C, i had a lot of people say "he's been here before. He has an old face..."
