I'm four days post surgery. I feel fab. My scar is healing really well.
I have a massive bruise on my back where the spinal went in but it doesn't hurt at all.
My boobs are sore from the constant feeding but nothing compairs to my hand where the cannula went in. Owwwww!

Other than your hand, it's great that you're feeling good :)

Cannula's are bloody horrible! Great that you're healing so well everywhere else though

DeedeeCannula's are bloody horrible!
Having it taken out was grim too. It squirted blood across the bed and ran all down my arm.
They then did my blood test for my iron levels.... no wonder they were a bit low!
They took 4 attempts to get the cannula in my hand with Joshua - it was agony! Glad you're healing well x

Apart from cannula, good to hear that you are healing well x

They had trouble getting my cannula in too, then i pulled it out whilst feeding P so i had blood going everywhere and a baby attached to my boob whilst trying to press the help button!
Well done on such a quick recovery!

That's good you're feeling well. I remember both my hands and forearms bring black yellow and blue after having N from so many failed attempts at cannulas and blood tests, grim.

Lol I commented the same thing, it hurt for a good week afterwards.
Mine also came out while I was feeding, still numb from the spinal, on a ward on my own, curtain pulled round and I dropped the call button!! I had to shout for help (oh the shame).
Glad to hear you Are recovering well x

Having mine in killed too! I'm always hesitant when they take them out just in case I need another for any reason!

They put mine in with B mid contraction and it was worse than the contraction!

Glad to hear you are feeling well, although don't go over doing it. I would be really interested in reading your birth story (I don't think you've done one yet) . Am still waivering on the VBAC / ELCS decision.
I hate having canula's in. I seem to have had so many in this pregnancy already. I have found that having it in my forearm was much much more comfortable than the back of my hand. The ones in my hand all seem to really pull and hurt, but in my arm it was fine ... well except for having to have it bandaged around because I kept pulling it out whilst asleep.

This was how I was with Isaac! Csection wise I was fine, hurt anit to sneeze and laugh but other than that I felt tip top....it was my boobs that hurt from feeding to x
