I had already sent nursery a text saying he wouldn't be in so I guess at least I didn't lie and say he was ill then send the dodgy text!!! I'm cringing to the hills.when is nursery compulsory?? It's not at age 2 is it????

Nursery is never compulsory Munchkin, it is only school which is compulsory. Don't worry!

I'm not sure it's even compulsory at 3 is it?
What Margot says.
If I need to do something that is inconvenient for school I keep T off x
Isn't it typical I've never randomly kept him off before!! I don't want them to think I don't think what they do is important, you know what I mean? God.... Why me!!!

You don't har to send any child to nursery. I know lots that didn't go anywhere before going to school x

I've looked a prize Pratt many a time before, I'm sure I will again lol. I'm so dum sometimes but I guess ill get over it. I showed H, he is cracking up so at least it's killed his bad mood!!!
Munchkin, you will be by no means the first or last parent to keep your child off, really try not to worry. I think some nurseries can take funded places (3+) away from persistent non-attenders but that's a big difference to keeping a child off for one day!

He isn't funded yet, so we have been paying for him to go for the past year xx I guess if I was an irresponsible parent I'd not have bothered in the first place lol. I am still cringing though lol!!
Yes but you pay for him to go don't you? They would only see it as you have wasted your money for that session. Lots of mums do it, they know your pregnant and need to get bits sorted. They'd understand M x

Technically they can't do anything until they are 5. The term after they are 5! Big problems in my reception class at the moment! You're fine!
