G is 14 months and goes to sleep between 7 & 7.30. He goes to sleep in his cot no bother and generally sleeps til anywhere between 6 and 7.30. However, over the last couple of weeks he has been waking up between 10pm and midnight upset and crying in his cot. The crying/upset will last for 10mins or so until he does a big pump/pumps and then he just falls back to sleep again. He obviously has trapped wind in his tummy which is waking him up :-(
has anyone had this with their LO? Any idea how to stop it? He has his tea at night about 5 o'clock and then in the bath by 6.

Rafferty quite often wakes with wind (he's 11 months) and I usually end up giving him a syringe of gripe water which sorts him straight away. No other ideas though, my older son was similar and outgrew it eventually! X

Thanks Alaina. I gave gripe water to G when he was younger, but didn't think about giving it to him now (don't know why it didn't occur to me). I'll try and pick some up next week.

I was also going to recommend gripe water, if worked well for us
