As above really, i know they're adjustable but i'm wondering if they will fit ok in the early days? I definitely want to use cloth nappies and I'm just trying to decide what's best to buy.
Thanks in advance :-)

Mostly, no IMO. It depends on the brand (some are bigger than others, and the size of baby though.
TotsBots Easyfits are fairly small, but Mio Solos are pretty big. Close Pop-ins do popper down nice and small though so they might be.
I found it was around the legs they were too big (and I started E in cloth at 3/4 weeks old) rather than the waist etc. Some do have extra poppers by the legs so you can adjust that too (like Little Lamb OFSA).
Personally, I like two parters for littluns as they contain even the worst poonamis. TotsBots teenyfits fitted well too.

I used them from a week old and didnt have aproblem. E was 8lb6 at birth. I mainly have bg v4s. I guess they were a little bulky though.

E didn't go into BTPs until she was three months, but she has twigs for legs. The Bumgenius Freetimes were the first to fit. Two parters were my favourite in the early days and still are.

I think we started around 6 weeks. They swamped him though and looking back now it's only the last month or so that he's got chubbier legs that we've been getting less leaks.

I started using BumGenius version 3 with Zoe around 8/9 weeks. They fitted fine then, don't know if they would have done earlier as I hadn't tried them.
This time around I have a couple of itti bitti smalls and a couple of the bumgenius newborn as the BTP ones I have look huge. Possibly as I had got more used to seeing them on a bigger child.

I started with blueberries at about 5 weeks and they were fine.
