    I'm confuuuuuused and it's scaring me! :\(

The first day of my last af was 2nd September but my cycles are quite irregular, anywhere between 30-42 days. When I tested with a CBD on Sunday morning it said PG 1-2. I'm concerned that it should be further along than that - counting back, I should be about 5 weeks tomorrow?! Does my cycle length have any bearing on this at all?

I'd be so grateful if someone could ease my mind a little as I'm driving myself a bit loopy!

Hi Hun, did you use a conception idicator test?? - i did and mine said 1-2 weeks, but the first say of my last AF was 4 weeks before - so i was actually 4 weeks PG but had only conceived 1-2 weeks before testing........hope that makes sense!

I think your cycle length can massively affect your conception date/due date calculations... x

    Thanks for replying.

Yeh, I used the conception indicator and it said 1-2. I tested on cd32 and was approx. 15dpo.

I'm really scared about this being a chemical pregnancy...having said that, I left it until 15dpo and both a Sainsburys cheapie and FR came up positive.

    jo_jo - I think you're right about my cycle lengths...here's hoping anyway!

When do you suggest trying another CBD...just so I can see it say 2-3?!

The CDB with conception indicator tells you approx. weeks from conception where as everyone else records pregnancy from the first day of your last period. It is confusing... so if you have a 1-2 on a CBD that usually means you are around 4ish weeks pregnant.

If you cycle lengths vary and then factor in that it can be 6 - 10 days post ovulation for implantation that could give you some variation on the CBD.

The most important thing is that you have a BFP and the midwives (until your 12 week dating scan) will class you as x weeks from your last AF.

    Congratulations!
