There were no spaces at the supermarket for parent & child but going back to the car a guy on his own was getting in to his car in a kiddie space. I challenged him (as you do!) and he said it stops him getting dinks in his car and he phrased it like it was his only option. He expected sympathy!! When I suggested he park in a quiet spot on the other side of the car park he was unimpressed, "I'd have to park ALL the way over there". Yeah, mate, you would. Cheeky sod.

Tell people they are more likely to get their car dinked next to a parent and child space by the kids standing next to it! A guy told me the other day 'oh shut up you nosey b**ch' when I spoke out loud that the spaces were for p&c!

When husband returned to the car and I told him about my conversation he demanded to know why I hadn't stoved my trolley in to the guy's car!

Prepare to be annoyed by this for at least the next four years

Did this in Sainburys last week. The guy totally ignored me.
The funniest thing is that I keep forgetting that I have A in the car and park in my usual parking space quite far from the store! Old habits...

I do that too RayeRaye! And then realise what a trek it is to get to the ticket machine, back to the car, then to the supermarket! I parked in one for the first time last week, as a rubbish parker I really appreciated the extra space. I saw a woman who had no kids park up and get out of the car but I wasn't as brave as the rest of you and just glared at her through the window...don't think she even noticed me though!

I had a woman glare at me as I 'queued' for the last p&c space over xmas and I could see her cursing and gesticulating in my rear view mirror. She had made the assumption that I didn't have a kid as I don't have a 'baby on board' window sticker, so as I parked up and got A out of the back i made sure to glare at her and then followed her around the store parading my adorably cute baby in her face lol. I may not have minded quite so much but the 'children' she had were easily 8-10 years old!

If I see someone without a child, who has parked in a p&c space, I shout "excuse me love, you've forgot your child". When they say they haven't got a child, I ask why they have parked in a p&c space then.
It quite often shames them into moving, especially if other people have over heard.

What AK says with bells on - drives me mental. I haven't used them since Molly was 2 either as I don't think it is right to take advantage
