I don't really have any advise and wouldn't want to suggest what it could be but if I were you I would get it checked out, it could be something really simple but if it has happened three times in less than a week and has taken such a long time to recover after an episode then you shouldn't really leave it just incase it is something serious. Why not call your midwife and see what she thinks.

I agree with MrsE, best to be on the safe side and get checked out. It's probably nothing, I know you can get light-headed and dizzy due to increased blood volume and pressure so perhaps that. But best to err on the side of caution! xx

It could be a number of things such as dehydration, high/low blood pressure or gestational diabetes. It could even be a combination of things but the fact you are passing out for long periods of time on a regular basis suggests you should speak to your GP/MW about it & get tested. Nearly all the above is simple to resolve once you know what the problem is. Best wishes.

Hi slightly late reply sorry - hope you have got this all sorted by now. WHen I had my booking appt my blood pressure was low and the MW told me to watch out as your blood pressure drops in pg anyway, so it's likely I will feel lightheaded, may even pass out. Might be an idea to just pop into your surgery and get your BP tested. Also as it improved when you had chocolate it could be related to blood sugar levels?? I have always got lightheaded, shaky and felt like I am about to pass out when I really need to eat. HTH hun, but I'd agree with the others, definitely get it checked. x

I agree with Gonnabeamummy if the chocolate seems to help pick you up a bit it could be linked to blood sugar levels. It's really common for them to drop in pregnancy. Hope you are all sorted now anyway hun take care x
