Hi lovely , think it's normal with subsequent babies to have practice contractions a few weeks before the birth ,I also felt like that with my 1st gp - breech birth , all the kicks were in my lady bits ... but yes - I would def keep an eye on the frequency , if they last a few hours it might be worth a call to the mw , better to be safe than sorry , you can't be over cautious , I keep saying the same to dh but he thinks it's impossible that it will happen early ,I sat on the toilet last night n it was actually quite painful , the pressure was immense !! then thoughts of being in labour came flooding into my mind ..... bit scary ,,,, as I was just saying on another thread - ignorance is sometimes bliss !! x x keep an eye honey , n keep us posted x x

Hope it has settled now ,
It is such a worry in the last few weeks isn't it , are they crampy or stabby - if you know what I mean ?
Sometimes just a few paracetemol can help to knock it on the head , can you get dh to give you a nice massage ? I always find a nice warm bath with lavender n ylalg ylang helps too ,
baba has been wriggling round like crazy today , wish mine would drop the heartburn is a bledy nuisance - have never had it with any of my others ... take care hun , n if you do have to go in it might be worth it just to be monitored just for peace of mind , I know you don't want to leave your little man but at least you would know if all was happy n calm in there , let us know how you get on , good luck x x

Glad you went in hun , to get some reassurance , hope the swab comes back ok
I know what you mean about being away from family but best to be safe , have you tried a warm crompress on your back- just hot water bottle if the wheat pillow affected your itching , n rocking side to side whilst lying on your back on the bed or yoga mat if you have 1 ?
Period pain is bad enough when you have your bledy period , you shouldn't have to put up with the pain when you don't have them ,
Have been feeling loads of pressure again today , n feel like I'm coming down with another bledy cold . eyes are like pee holes in the snow !!
Please try n take it easy , best for baba to stay put as long as possible , thinking of you x x
