Obvoiusly it's a personal question, but I've been looking at my nursing bra fitting at 37-38 weeks, and I really don't know if M&S or John Lewis will go big enough in cup size. What bra size were you at conception and at birth?

Obviously not given birth yet but I'm already up to a HH. I hate not being able to walk into a normal shop and buy a bra. I think M&S stop at G.

Christ. I was a 32G at conception. This is not going to end well.

I was a G too! Have you gone up already? I'm kinda worried they might actually burst when the milk comes in. Do you have any of the proper bra shops near you? I think I might just order a load online right around when the baby is due and send them back after my milk is in and I know what I need! I can't see me getting over to a shop in the last few weeks, they are all miles away.

Pre pregnancy I was a 30FF or sometimes a 32F, now I think I'm wearing a 32FF or maybe G. I didn't go much bigger than this last time though so we shall see what happens!

Mine didn't grow. Even when my milk came in. H was gutted (my 38D's weren't good enough, it seems)

Last pregnancy I was a 32E/F at conception, and a 34J at birth. This did not please me.
This time I started at 32GG (still breastfeeding) and I'm hoping they don't go quite so enormous.

I've got a John Lewis (who come very highly recommended for their knowledge) half an hour away; H is coming too as that's the last chance saloon for baby things. I'd usually be happy to order online, but it's the advice I'm after.

Sange it might be worth being restrained on the nursing bra purchase until after the small one arrives and your milk comes in, I say this because mine went up again once my milk came in properly. Maybe buy one now and one a bit later

30GG pre-pregnancy. I didn't grow hugely. Bravissimo put me in a 32H in one nursing bra and 32J in another at about 38 weeks. They were fine and lasted me until I stopped breastfeeding. One piece of advice they gave me at the fitting was that your fist should fit in the cup, and that should be enough growing room for most women when their milk came in. If you've not got a Bravissimo nearby they do relax their returns policy for nursing bras in terms of the time limit, so you could order several and return after the birth. They do fitting advice over the phone too I believe.

Whatever size, I'd go for nursing anyway as opposed to regular maternity bra as when bf is established you sometimes go down a bit. That way you can use the bras as much as possible.

That's why I want to go to John Lewis; they allow for the milk coming in. My freind said they were amazing.

i was originally a 32 f, im 19 weeks tomorrow and i am up to a 32 G at the moment i have bought 34g but they are still feeling a little loose! i cant seem to find any nursing bras that are not ridiculously priced

I am a 34G, and didn't change at all with both pregnancies.
Personally I wouldn't buy expensive nursing bras until after breastfeeding is established. I had some of the Carriwell ones which do several sizes and one fitted one.

sange, boudoir and blush are the most recommended place in winch for measuring, not sure if they do maternity tho. I also have a friend who is a professional bra fitter and trained in maternity and nursing who could advise. she's just setting up her own business and is magpie and mint on Facebook/twitter.
oh and to answer the q, i was 34d pre preg, 36dd during and wearing 34ff now i'm b feeding

At the moment I am still in my normal bras! I really wanted to buy new for my bigger boobies but there is just no need yet! I am only a B / C anyway. They are a bit rounder but no bigger :-(

Conception - 32B. birth - 34C. Now 32DD (breastfeeding).

Before 34E. I'm 21 weeks and now 36H. I'm gutted, I really hate them. In the past I've found M&S and Mothercare crap and John Lewis ok. Best were Bravissimo.
