I'm currently 32+4 with my first baby and experiencing bad PGP. I'm worried how this is going to effect labour as I can hardly walk never mind give birth, has anyone experienced PGP & given birth and the same time? Also would anyone know if having Pgp would allow me to be induced early, I really feel like I can't see out the rest of this pregnancy, and it's getting me down!

i had pgp in both my pregnancies- with my second it was much worse and I ended up having to use crutches to help me walk.
Neither times were my labours affected- I was far too excited and in pain with contractions lol the pgp disappeared immediately also (thank god)
i was consultant led care both times and both (different consultants) refused to induce me on grounds of pgp. I would try and talk to your midwife/consultant about whether they can refer you to physio if you haven't already.
as a side note, having experienced both natural and induced labour (I ended up being induced anyway with my second due to high bp) I found induced labour to be far more painful, it was a lot more intense and this time round im hoping to go naturally as long as my bp doesn't go crazy.
i really feel for you, pgp sucks and it's absolute agony but it won't be too long before it's a distant memory xx

Thank you for sharing your experiences it's good to know that other people are or have been in the same boat. I think I'm more concerned with not been able to manage contractions & pgp at the same time, but I Spose us women are made of strong stuff! I'm attending physio but it just doesn't seem to help 😔
i hope you don't suffer PGP as bad with this pregnancy! Good luck! X
