Just in the interest of keeping members, can you let us know why MD is difficult for you to post on please?
Is it something the panel can bring up at the next meeting, which is in a few weeks time?
We don't want to lose people! xx

I have to log in about 5 times before I am actually logged in.
It never 'remembers' me either. If I'm in a short mood I can't be bothered with it!

How are you logging on Ducky? iPhone?
I know I sometimes have issued on the iPhone/iPad....

Yes iPhone at the moment.
Although the home hub has just arrived so I might have real Internet soon and I can test the PC. Yippee!
I can't log on with my kindle. I did raise it a while back and was told they were looking into it.
Its actually really inconvenient as that it what I predominently use at home, as H steals the laptop! I can browse but not post, it doesnt let me log in. I fill in the log in details and it just returns me to the blank log on page. So I tend to only post at work.

Its mainly log in issues for me.
It never remembers me even when i ask it to, and i can log in, but as soon as i click forums it logs me straight back out. I have emailed sarah several times and she keeps saying that its being worked on, but this has been like this for months. It only happens on my laptop at home and iv tried loads of things to fix it but its not working.
My work computer keeps me logged in and lets me post fine, but i can only get on at lunch.
I can post from my phone, but its slow, and i cant start a thread. well i can as in i can write a title in the box, but then i cant write anything underneath it so i dont bother!
Not sure what im going to do when bubs is here and i lose the work computer.

Ah, ok. I'm seeing my Mum tomorrow. Will check if I can log on with her kindle. What a pain!

I have to log in lots of times, then it forgets me every time i come back. I can't scroll up or down easily which makes personal difficult and sometimes it loses everything I've written. I cant see what Im typing while Im typing really either.

I cant log in on the ipad. I put my details in and go through the process, but it wont log me in.
I can log in on my iphone and it keeps me logged in, i just refresh the page every time i go onto MD.

If you can, use this link mumdrum.com/support.aspx as it'll automatically submit details about your device and, hopefully, will help solve the problem by the MD bigwigs.

I can't start threads when I'm on my phone (Android) although i can reply. I find the format clunky though when on my phone so generally only read / post from the laptop as opposed to the other forum I use which has a mobile site and I now find I use it far more. I had raised the issue of a mobile format on the Feedback board and Sarah said it is in the pipeline.

Hi all - a couple of quick updates on the issues raised. The log-in issue is an ongoing issue. Due to its intermittent nature and the fact that it only affects a small number of users it has been very difficult to isolate & resolve. Today we've received a copy of the mumdrum.com/support.aspx page from a user who was unable to login, so I'm hopeful that this will give us sufficient information to resolve the issue.
We have employed a full time developer to work solely on building a fully mobile version of The Mumdrum and we're making good progress.
It's not currently possible to login to The Mumdrum from a Kindle. The browser used by a Kindle is completely different to a regular browser and there is a significant amount of development work required to enable it. There are also some concerns regarding the security of the Kindle browser. So although we have added this to our development list I'm afraid it's not something that will be delivered in the short term.

Jelly Baby - I found with my phone (also an Android) that the only way i can start a post is to start the thread and write the body of the thread first and then put the thread title in. The problem i've found with this, is that if i need to alter the body of the text, i can't once i've typed the thread title. it's a bit of a pain, but at least i know i can if i need to.
