is watching porn classed as cheating?

i think for everyone the answer is difrent some might class it as cheating others might not. not sure how i would feel about it myself

No i wouldnt call it cheating, but i personally wouldnt like to catch my hubby watching it lol :lol:

But if he was watching it with a mate and they were having a laugh, i wouldnt be bothered, men are men after all!!

No I don't think its cheating at all my oh looks at porn on the net all the time and I really don't mind as it gives me a break! We watch it together sometimes as well if I'm not in the mood lol and like katie said we laugh through a lot of it but it usually helps to get me in the mood

hi, when u frst met my hubby he had a a lot of dvds, but after a few months he gave them away i asked him why and he said he diesent think its right to watch them when hes in love with me has he thinks its dis respectfull of me, i dont really mind him watching porn as long as i know when hes watching and there are no secrets. but hes just not intrested anymore

anyway even if he was botherd he would find no time to watch now lol with our demanding little boy!! xxx

I personally would go mad if I found my oh had been watching porn behind my back but there are a lot of issues relating to why!

as others have said, I dont consider it as cheating per se! Tho I still would not be happy.

I don't consider it cheating either, but would prob. be disappointed if I found out hubby had been watching it behind my back - ONLY because we are open about this sort of stuff and he knows I wouldn't have a problem with it if he wanted too watch it, so why hide it from me?

I brought him a porn DVD once for his birthday!!! It was rubbish tho!

When we were TTC this little monster, hubby had a few 'issues' (some of you might have read about them!) - he got stage fright!!! We ordered a porn film on Sky Box Office one night but it didn't help at all - we couldn't stop laughing at how tacky it was!!! LOL

lol no darling certainly not! I watch it with oh. Its actually very healthy to watch it i believe it means they are happy with there sexuality. Would much rather my oh watch porn than go get is somewhere else! I take it we are talking straight porn and not Gay?!?!

Otherwise I really wouldn't worry, why not sit down with him and watch it, it is a great way to turn eachother on (sorry, I used to work for Ann Summers so sex is my strong subject lol), I guarantee he will find it a total turn on also!

Hi i wouldnt class it as cheating at all, i had a bit of a thing for porn myself through pregnancy lol and i still do lol so did my oh. Wether he/i watched it together or on our own in our own private time? it dont mean anything so long as your still making love together? same with masturbation its harmless so long as your still with eachother, Cos if your not still doing things together then could be a sign of something wrong, But we all have different apetites and urges and needs lol Sorry just my opinion. Actually, OH and I used to read naughty books together (Anais Nin, Nancy French etc) and I suppose theoretically that's porn too. Hope I'm not cheating on DH by still peeking in them from time to time!

(By the way, would not be happy if OH was watching gay porn, and anything with any overtones of nastiness like rape or young looking girls etc would certainly horrify me, but not because I see it is cheating, but just morally not right at all).

Me and Oh have watched it a couple of times together!! He had a couple of DVD's when we 1st got together and there in our 'naughty box' in the bedroom :lol: and haven't been out since we moved in together 3.5 years ago!!

Wouldnt have a problem if he wanted to watch it, but think I would want to know if he was. As would he if I wanted too.

thanx guys for all your opinions,my mate has been dating a guy for 2 years and she caught him watching porn,but he said he was watching it for a laugh apparantely. Shes so upset about it and it didnt know what to say to comfort her. I got angry with her boyfriend and had a right go at him for upsetting my mate. I don't class it as cheating. We watch it together (allthough not since baby has arrived) so as its a together thing i think i would find it unacceptable if i caught him watching it on his own!
