I didnt have any issues at all after my cs with G but this time round its taking a bit longer to heal.
I thought it was doing really well then i stupidly wore my pre-pregnancy jeans yesterday which were a little tight round my waist (but not as low as my scar) and now my scar feels sore. I had a look with a mirror and the middle of it looks a bit red but not weeping etc. It doesnt sound like its infected right?? Only if its weepy? Also now my bump has gone i have a small overhang over the scar. How do you make sure the scar stays dry and doesnt get sweaty?? Sorry gross and TMI

Can you put a sanitary towel over your scar?
If you are at home, keep it uncovered and dry.
Tea tree oil in a bath is great for healing.

I wore jeans too soon as well and made it sore. I stuck to dresses and joggers or pjs for round the house. As rusty said you could put a sanitary towel across your scar.

I'm almost 9 years post cs now and I put talc on my scar to keep it dry. The overhang is a right pita but the talc helps a lot. I imagine it's a bit early for talc for you but in the early days I used to have to wipe it a few times a day with a face wipe as the sweat / heat made it sting. Never tried a sanitary towel on it, wish someone had suggested hat!

The talc is a good tip. I'm 14 months post c-section, and i still find it gets sore if i don't make sure it's dry after a shower/bath. If i get the chance i lie on the bed lifting the over hang up whilst it's drying. I also used to use a muslin over the wound.
Watch out for infection, i had a horrific infection with my first C-Section, i ended up back in hospital because of it.
