We're off on holiday and I want to take my Stokke Pram in a pram pack on holiday, I've just trialled it and it looks huge and my parents are convinced they won't accept it on the plane. Has anyone taken one? What's your experience? I'm going with First Choice long haul and flying with Thomsons

It said on their website that you may bring a folding pushchair free of chair. Doesn't say anything about weight limits or anything. Maybe given them a ring?

Oh gosh I'd never take my Stokke on a plane haha. It doesn't fold in one (it's an Xplory you've got?) so I'm not convinced they'd accept it unless it went as part of your baggage allowance. I'd just get a cheap umbrella fold to take away personally.

We are buying a Maclaren techno xt as a holiday buggy and then my mum will use it after as 'her' buggy when she has T. I'd never take my proper pram on a plane.

We go away next week and decided we didn't trust the with our icandy so are buying a stroller. We fly with monarch and they allow a pram and a car seat for an infant with no mention of weight so if we were brave enough to take the icandy I'd assume it wouldn't be a problem

You'll probably be ok but I wouldn't risk it personally. I had one pram not even arrive with us and we left it with staff by the boarding gate as we got on and another airline broke my Maclaren, I don't trust them at all.

Thanks for all your help. I might look at another pushchair. Yes it's an xplory but I'm going to put it in a pram pack (or was) so it's all sealed in one bag on wheels
