Perhaps a stupid question, but do I need these?
The pram we've chosen is the Mamas & Papas Switch, which converts from pram to pushchair with a bit of clever pram origami! You can get a separate pram liner for when it is used as a flat pram but I can't remember if we've ordered this or not.
When looking at bedding, I've seen that sheets and blankets come in Moses/pram size and cot/cot bed size. Now I appreciate that you'd use a blanket to cover baby in the pram, but do you use sheets as well? I've been trying to surreptitiously peek into people's prams on the street without looking like too much of a weirdo, but as it's so cold, the babies are all wrapped up in blankets so I can't see!
Thanks in advance (and BTW, the leftover Xmas avatar is because the version of internet explorer I have at work won't let me change my picture!)

I think the pram sheets are for lining the mattress of the pram so they have something nice and soft to lie on and if they have an accident you can clean them easily. You can use any sized flat sheet and fold them up to fit the pram.

Thanks Carole. The pram liner is white so I'm guessing it'll get filthy pretty quickly!

My pram had a separate carrycot and I had to use sheets on it. They were just moses basket size

We used a pram sheet on the mattress of the pram, which like Ally was a seperate carryccot type affair. It took a standard moses basket mattress.

We just use moses basket sheets. Typically the one time H took him out without one on as he didn't realise, he had a leaky nappy and now the mattress has a slight stain.

My pram didn't have a seperate carry cot so didn't have a mattress as such so we haven't bothered with any sheets. The foot muff pretty much covers the whole back of the pram where J currently lies so makes it nice and comfy for him.

I use the pram sheet from mamas and papas for the carry cot, but not on the pushchair part. We bought an extra mattress for it as we use it for occasional overnight sleeps, so it's like a moses basket really. The sheets keep the mattress clean and make it more comfortable to lie on.

I didn't use sheets at all in the pram, just a muslin under his head as he was a super vomity baby.

Thanks everyone. It's been a while since I've seen the pram but I was just concerned that as it's one that converts and not a proper carry cot, that sheets wouldn't fit properly.
