When I saw the midwife a few days ago she was going to arrange getting a prescription of asprin for me because I have 2 risk factors, what I forgot to ask when do you start taking it? I have looked on Google and it apears to be from 12 weeks onwards does that sound right?

I took mine as soon as I got my bf. I think it depends on why you are told to take it as to when you start.

Did you develop in your first pregnancy? As section 4 told me, it really is a miracle drug

The advice seems to vary so much across areas - I've known people be prescribed it purely based on BMI (like you - BMI and it being your first pregnancy so no history one way or the other) but it has never been mentioned to me and I have the exact same 'risk factors'.

Yes, I am guessing that she want's me to take it... because she's already arranged for a prescription to be done? I will pick it up Monday and phone them to double check before taking it though!
It's all very confusing with places doing it differently everywhere..!

I took it from my BFP to 33 wks both times. This was due to previous early miscarriages and possible clotting problems.
