Hi everyone and Merry Christmas!
Im currently 6 Ish weeks pregnant with my second child. My first was born 10 years ago when I was 27.. This is a little shock albeit a very welcome one! However, I already feel shattered haha.. I know 2 pregnancies are never the same no matter what age.. I was just wondering if any 30s mums have any idea if there's a big difference? I'm pretty fit and healthy, more so than in my 20s.
I also find myself worrying about the increase in abnormalities etc! And although i know its acceptable for mums to be a bit older these days, i worry I may get judged on my age.
Thanks in advance xx

Great to hear that you are expecting your second child soon and that you are looking forward to a bigger family. I cannot advise on the health aspects although generally you should be better prepared to deal with the second child than with the first even if there has been a period of time in between. The aspects that have helped me is having a stronger support network from friends and relatives who take an interest in the first child and ofcourse the eldest child can be of some help and will love to do too in most cases.
