Why on earth are so many women trying to conceive???
This is my first and I am like NO WAY will I do this crap again!!!
I have insomnia, I have NO energy, I get bad leg cramps, I can't
eat regularly because I get soooooooooooo NAUSEATED and
I told my husband who I am MADLY and very passionately in love
with that I will only do this ONE baby and NO MORE.
Even he feels bad for me. I cannot see how women keep getting
PREGNANT and ACT like it is SOO GREAT.
RUBBISH GARBAGE I HATE THIS EXPERIENCE for the most part.
I made sure my husband knows I LOVE our baby but the pregnancy
is what I am not happy about. Dealing with pregnancy is very difficult
and I am less than a MONTH along now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trying to conceive????????????????
A D O P T
Why bring another child into the world and go through all this BS
just to be MOM????????????? Just adopt if you can.
Seriously, I am so glad I do not have to work cause there is NO way
I would be able to hold a job now. I am up with insomnia because of
bad leg cramps and I HAD to write this!!
There are other symptoms that I have like anxiety about every little thing I
do during this pregnancy because I worry constantly that I could affect the
It is a nutcase experience. I wish more women would be HONEST about it and stop
being like "Oh I am sooooooooo happy for you"
Not to me but other ladies who are on threads

Let me add that I am always on the toilet and sometimes I try to pee and only a little somes out but I am very healthy. I am always eating cranberries and drinking cranberry juice. I do not have any pain at all so I know it is not an infection. I studied Pharmacology so I am aware of ailments that indicate illness.
I am sorry about my attitude but come on, you can't tell me that all women love this

Goodparenttobe, I am sorry you are having such a rough time, I've never been pregnant so I can't truly understand what you are going through, but I will say that I hope things improve for you soon, and that you feel better, and I wish you all the best for healthy happy pregnancy.
May I kindly suggest that the pregnancy and birth clubs might be a better forum for you to post? This is a trying to conceive forum and many ladies here (myself included) desperately wish to find ourselves in your shoes right now.
I apologise if I have caused any offense, it is truly not my intention xx

Just popping in to say that we agree with Misskiwi and will be moving this thread to the Pregnancy topic now.
GoodParenttoBe: please don't take offence - we think your thread is a good one - we know that loads of people feel like you and find pregnancy truly hideous, and it's important that there's somewhere to talk freely about these feelings, and find support from others who feel the same.
But there are so many lovely people in the Trying to Conceive topic for whom pregnancy is a SUCH a desperately-hoped-for thing that we don't think this topic is the best place for your thread.
We hope you'll see that it could be deeply upsetting to read your thread title when getting pregnant is something you're really struggling to achieve.
We're sure you didn't mean your thread to upset anyone, so we trust you'll agree that moving to the Pregnancy topic is the best thing.
Here's hoping that your leg cramps and insomnia let up soon. That sounds like a really horrible combination of symptoms to have to deal with!

Goodparenttobe - the reason people do it more than once is because the outcome is amazing and special and its worth 9 months of being uncomfy etc.
I will add that the first trimester is generally the worst for sickness, blaoting tiredness etc. You usually get a break when you emter your second trimes or for me it was 11 weeks first time round. The third trimester is generaly when you cant get comfy in bed, are tired and always weeing but as I say the outcome is worth every second x

this will be my 3 rd time and I think its wonderful especially when u feel the baby move for the first time or u see it on scans
omg there were times I thought what the fudge am I doing to myself but my boys are so god damn scrummy that everything I put my body through to have these little people was so worth it I have to also add that my labours have been really lovely so I would have more if I could but no more after this one. Its good your being honest i do know people that have said never again and they mean it but others including me have said never again and then they have another
hormones are also playing a big part of ur emotions right now and I promise it will get easier like angwass has said the sickness and tiredness goes away at 2nd trimester and luckily for you ur not working so rest and sleep when u feel u have to u might be sitting on the sofa at half ten and fancy a nap take that nap for as long as you can I hope u feel better soon and hopefully u can start to enjoy ur pregnancy a bit more

The only time I said never again was straight after giving birth. Though pregnancy is generally hard (well for my body it was) the amount of pressure and pain to give birth really was the cherry on the cake for me.
Of course I want another one at some point but for now my 7 month old is plenty lol
Your body just need a few more weeks to adjust to being pregnant and the rising hcg and hormones. Youl be glad once it's over and might actually start enjoying it after the first trimester :) x

Yes you can move this thread to Pregnancy.
I guess I am just one of the women who has a lot of symptoms at once :/
I forgot to mention dizziness and lightheadedness.
Now my legs cramp even when I am up!
Hot flashes. Loud belching. High anxiety levels. I mean there are just several at once!
I did not mean to be offensive.

Morning all. Just popping in to say thanks, GoodParenttobe, for your post. And please don't worry: we know you didn't meant to be offensive.
This is turning into a great thread actually – and it's reminding me how awful I felt for most of my 3 pregnancies. Don't regret it for a moment but boy was it tough at times!

Any woman who can do more than one pregnancy (up to birth) is a rock. I think women were made to be like indestructible existences because pregnancy and birth Wow, and I still cannot believe people have like 19 kids?? The Duggars for one. HOW did Michelle do it????????? This proves there is a God. I am not religious but there is NO way a woman can do this without a God helping. Bringing a life into the world is powerful!
I believe all angels watch out for babies but that sometimes bad things happen to the Mom and baby :(
To the lady that is bleeding: Sometimes you can have Breakthrough bleeding which is normal in pregnancy. You should ask your care provider to check the pregnancy out though just to be safe. There are women that bleed heavily and nothing is wrong with the baby so. There might not be anything wrong.
