MrsB could well be movement :-) we all interpret the feeling slightly different, but take a bit of quiet time lay down, have a cold drink and see if it happens again 🤞
congratulations Ria, what a fab Scan pic 😁 so wonderful you have made the 13 week mark, time goes soooo quickly at the mo - try and enjoy your second trimester as much as you can, the anxiety does sometimes get in the way unfortunately.
I got quite a lot of maternity bits on eBay - although have to say the Jeans have never fitted nicely (too baggy) I got a could of pairs of maternity leggings from Asda - but did order them online and also some jegging from matalan also online - not many shops stock maternity, some Debenhams and Mother-care will. I also got a few dresses on eBay from H&M and next seem to have a big range online too.
To be honest I am still wearing mainly non maternity clothes at 34 weeks, cheapy primark leggings covered by floaty tops/dresses and cardigans- however I am not carrying particularly big, one lady yesterday who I have known for a while didn’t know I was pregnant and didn’t realise, until someone else asked how I was and I was telling her I had some contractions on Monday - she almost fell off her chair!! I am sort of used to the - ‘oh I thought you’d put on weight’ comments now was super hung on them for a while, and my hubbie still maintains that i just look fatter rather than pg....

Carrie I had my first midwife appt at 10 weeks and 5 days and didn’t have my scan until 13 weeks 6 days but it was a lot better because I was passed my miscarriage date and felt a bit a ease!
Mrs b that could definitely be movement I felt movement very early this time but they just came and went every few days so fingers crossed its baby xD
heh Ria glad to hear you’re doing okay! Look at little bubba! Do you feel like a weight is lifted now xD I bought some maternity jeans & leggings from mothercare and they’re great the leggings have recently got holes in them but I had been wearing them a lot from June/July time when I found out I was pregnant last time so I just bought new ones online at new look and so far I have to say the new look maternity leggings are better they’re stretchier around tummy and are longer and I’m 5ft8 so I need long 😂 I also got a couple of short sleeved tops for lounging around in as once it’s summer I’ll just be living in stretchy dresses xD
Mrs fish from your photos I personally think you’re noticeably pregnant! I think most people don’t like to comment incase you arnt and you have just put on a bit of weight! So they just act surprised when you say! Oh well so what if people think you’ve just put on weight you know that’s not the case & that you have beautiful Amelie growing in there xD
I had some really strong movements last night in bed which oh got to feel you could see my belly move it was just a lovely moment for us both and something I think we both needed! I’m definitely feeling movement everyday now xD Lukes at work today, Lilys at playschool & im off so a nice relaxing day for me xD

Girls I have a wedding to go to next month where oh is the best man... I cannot find anything to wear 😭
08/03/2018 at 12:32
Mummytolily you could try looking at some of these bridal sites that do maternity bridesmaid dresses. Even if you aren't a bridesmaid there are some beauties that dont look too formal and you couldn't tell it was one. With OH being best man he will know the colour scheme too so you wont accidentally end up in the same dress.
We saw some lovely ones on the Wed2B site last year thay weren't too expensive (if I didn't MC I would have been Maid of Honour at 8 months).

Morning girls how do you all cope with the few weeks of pregnancy after a loss! I’m only 5 weeks and my days seem to be taking forever 😩 just need to get passed 7 weeks and hopefully I can start to relax a bit but I’m still testing like a freak just to make sure my lines are getting darker and it’s driving me crazy xx
09/03/2018 at 10:36
I’m exactly the same claloub. I’m terrrfied. Every twinge and im running to the toilet to knickwe check 😔
im 5+4 today. Didn’t find out about mc until a scan at 10 weeks. I have the same symptoms as last time. trying to get excited but just can’t I don’t know if I can cope with history repeating itself xxx
09/03/2018 at 11:21
Momcat and Claloub I’m the same! I got so paranoid yesterday that my boobs didn’t hurt much that I booked a private scan for when I’m 10 weeks! (Next week) i am a serial knicker checker and constant boob molesterer!! I mc at 12 weeks last time but didn’t see how far I was unfortunately so couldn’t be waiting until the last minute really! Trying to relax but I’m with u Guys lol x
09/03/2018 at 16:21
Aww it’s so hard isn’t it but I got an app with epu for Monday to get a scan done I will be 5+4 but told them I would be 6 weeks Monday although she did say if it was too early I would have to go back a few days or a week later which is fine by me at least I may be able to stop poas! My progression seems better than last time and my symptoms are more intense and are really early on so I’m hoping its al flood signs xx
09/03/2018 at 17:05
Mrs b thank you I’ll have a look xD
momcat and claloub the only advice i can offer you is just remember it’s a new pregnancy! Good luck with your scan on Monday claloub!
Todays is my angel baby’s due date, I’ve managed no tears so far but been thinking about baby all day 💙
baby Harry’s Moses basket arrived today oh my god it’s so beautiful can’t wait to see him laid in there all snug 💙

It is so hard in the early days, and even as you progress through the pregnancy you will still worry about all twinges, lack of movement, knicker checking etc - as mummytolily said, every pg is different and what happened with one, is not always going to happen with another - try and have faith, and perhaps say some positive affirmations to yourself, it might help combat the negative thoughts a little.
Mummytolily, it’s ok to let yourself cry if you need to, the losses will always be part of our journey, and a lost life we will always love and miss.
Bobble how was your work meeting?
Lisl how are you doing hun? You are really close now!!
I had a bit of a melt down on midwife yesterday over my upcoming birth, GD makes me high risk, so won’t be able to deliver in birthing pool and likely to be strapped up to lots of machines and stuck in bed - not what I wanted at all 😔 I think I am going to email head midwife in area so they can come up with a plan that encompasses my choices as well as what’s best for baby - I reacted really badly to pain relief meds last time (threw up every 10mins for 6 hours) so really don’t want to go down that route again. GD is very stable and I am on minimal insulin over night, food intake does not seem to effect blood sugar levels at the mo 🤞but placenta slightly under performing overnight is more the issue. Of course if things change I would do what is best for baby, but if blood sugar is stable during delivery.....
I have scans and consult again in 2 wks (36wks) when they will decide if they are inducing me at 38 wks or letting me go through to 40.
Have a spa day with my friends tomorrow followed by dinner - yummy and then Mr Fish is taking me out with the boy sunday, have a real craving for paella, so will try and get some over the weekend nom nom.
Whats everyone else up to over the weekend?

Hey to all newbies and congratulations! And sorry to hear about your previous losses.
Mummytolily it's ok to be sad about your Angel. Thinking of you today xx
Mrs Fish is right ladies, it is difficult in the early days. It does get easier but you do still worry but I think that's part and parcel of pregnancy and becoming a mummy anyway. Remember that just because you had a mc last time doesn't mean you will this time. This is a completely different pregnany 🌈
Mrs Fish I hope they can come up with a plan to suit both you and the midwives 🤞🤞 enjoy your weekend! It sound super fun xx
I'm doing well thanks, 36+2 today. Hallie is now 5 pounds 15 based on bump measurements. Bang on perfect on my chart which is good. Everything was good at my midwife appointment today. Back at 38, then 40, then 41 weeks if she hasn't come by then. Well based on when the midwife is at surgery I'll be 38+2, 40+2 and 41+2. I then get induced at 40+12 if I get to that. Getting nervous but excited too! Just want to hold her and kiss her and cuddle her now. Here's a picture i took on Wednesday at 36 weeks exactly.
Hallie's pram and some other bits from mamas and papas are being delivered tomorrow. I can't wait! And having a pregnancy massage tomorrow too thanks to my lovely friends who got me a voucher for my baby shower then taking my mum and Mike's mum out on Sunday for mother's day.
Hope everyone is well and that you all have a lovely weekend. Happy mother's day to all existing mummas and happy bumpy mother's day to my fellow soon to be first time mummas 💗

Looking fab Lisl, so glad all is going well and baby is measuring perfect - you should be meeting Hallie in less than 4 weeks if you are on time 😁 xx
10/03/2018 at 08:13
Just took this this morning just to make sure baby still growing and has really helped put my mind at rest I have never ever had a line that dark even at 6 weeks with all other pregnancies so it’s looking good I’d say 🙈 can’t wait for scan Monday. 😝
10/03/2018 at 08:25
Think I can officially stop testing 🤔 lol
10/03/2018 at 09:19
Mrs fish hopefully you get some sort of plan in place ready for Amelie’s birth! Even though you can’t give birth in the pool are you able to use it as pain relief? I wasn’t able to give birth in the pool with lily because I had gained to much weight making me high risk but they did say I was allowed to labour in it? Maybe that could be your compromise but obviously if you have to be hooked up to machines that might not be an option but id definitely ask! I didn’t end up using it in the end as by the time one was free I was in so much pain and so comfy on the bed I didn’t really want to move 😂 hope you get something sorted!
Lisil you look lovely! Can’t believe how close you‘re now! Crazy to think you & Mrs fish will both have your babies next month! Hope you enjoy your pregnancy massage today!
Claloub that’s a really strong line!
I ended up having a melt down last night but feel loads better for it this morning! Looking forward to mothers day tomorrow can’t believe next year I’ll have two little pickles to look after me on mother’s day! Lily’s already planning to make me Nutella pancakes for breakfast xD have a good weekend everyone!

Thanks all I’m waiting patiently for my scan in the morning I just keep Thinking it’s all in my head! I’m very nervous but also very excited lol I had a dream last night that I went for scan and I was like 4 week further along even though that’s not possible but I could see babies Tonly hands and feet and it looked like a baby, even though I’m not going to see anything like that in the morning I think it’s just playing on my mind and can’t wait for 12 week scan xx
