    Hi.
I am new to all this! Just found out I am pregnant! We are over the moon, but its very early days, as I was only a day late when got the result. I have since done 3 more digital clearblue tests and all say positive. However I am bleeding a little, only very light - more like spotting and maybe only once a day but went to doc as I was worried. She told me its early days and not to get my hopes up. However I am Rhs negative bloody group and have been told this can sometimes cause early bleeding. I just feel so down now, as I expected doc to be a bit more positive!!

Try not to worry too much - I know this is easy to say - but if you stress yourself too much this may not help your situation. You can ask for an early scan - have you been allocated a midwife - if not make sure you get one, and request an early scan.

Good luck and try not to worry to much xxx

Thanks! She told me to come back in a week or two and then she would allocate a midwife. I went to her as I expected reassurance, to be honest I wasn't that bothered abotu it, and thought it might be implantation bleeding. She seems to dismiss this, although she didn't examine me, and I was only in there 5 mins! I have come back to work, as thought I might be worse at home worrying. Not that I am managing to do anything other than look at this site!!

    hi ya

Alot of people have bleeding in their pregnancy, especially at the begining.Aslong as its not heavy, painfull or clotting im sure you will be fine.Like you said it could be down to implantation.Your doctor doesnt sound very nice or helpfull! If your really worried i would make another appointment with a different doctor, or go to a drop in health centre.

    good luck hun

Hun dont worry, it is early days but sooo many women experience bleeding in pregnancy, I did twice. One being very early on and again at 25 weeks which was very scary. Both unexplainable apparently! I am also rh neg and never heard that could of caused the bleeding but whatever lol. If it is just light and you have no pain im sure youll be fine, like you said it could be an implantation bleed. Im convinced thats what my early bleed was.

I didnt find out i was pregnant until I was about 9 weeks so i really didnt have to wait that long to tell people but i did let it slip to a few peopl ebecause its just too hard not to! How far gone are you dya know? If your like me and just cant keep the news to yourself maybe just tell one or two people very close to you who you can chat to about it and just let off some steam. I am only 5 weeks, which is why I am worried about the bleeding, I have told my mum. Problem is, I am not known for holding back on the wine so I think my friends will guess fairly quickly!!! And yes, it is my first and I am happy and excited and scared!!

Hi hun, I bled early on and went to casualty - they'll take your bloods over a couple of days to check you're ok and maybe scan you (most wont scan til 6 weeks plus as there's no heartbeat before then).

If your doctors crap - just go to the hosp - best of luck as everyone else has said it's only usually when you have clotting and bad pain that you need to worry, xxx
