    Hello

We're wondering what you think about the news that a German woman, age 65, who already has 13 children, is now 21 weeks'  pregnant with quadruplets.

Annegrut Raunigk is a schoolteacher from Berlin (due to retire this year) and became pregnant after several attempts at artificial insemination.

Her children range from the age of 9 to 44. She's said to have wanted to have another baby because her youngest child wanted a little brother or sister. She was a little bit shocked to find she's having quads!

But, she said, 'I don't think I will have any problems… I think one needs to not listen too much to the opinions of others.'

But what do you think? Do you admire her attitude and think it's great she's still up for having babies at nearly pensionable age? Or do you think it's all a bit weirdy and, ultimately, a bit unfair on her unborn children who'll have such an elderly mum?

Do let us know your thoughts by adding a post to this discussion. We'd love to hear your views!

I think it's everyone's choice but I don't agree with it, these new kiddies could potentially l lose their mum at a young age, by the time they are 10 she will be 75 and may not have the energy she has now to care for them. I don't think it's fair on the children

    Hello hello.

Just thought we'd update you on this one: German TV is reporting today that Annegrut has given birth to her quadruplets by C-section at 26 weeks. She had 3 boys and a girl, and the reports say 'they have a good chance of surviving'.
