Nearly 300 babies and toddlers die from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) each year in the UK. Although it is not yet known how to completely prevent SIDS, it is possible to significantly lower the chances of it happening. The Mumdrum is running a week long campaign with The Lullaby Trust to help spread the word about safer sleep for babies. Here's what The Lullaby Trust recommends that you can do, or avoid doing, to help lower the chance of SIDS:

I think the bit at the bottom about those guidelines being for all sleep is really important. I hope this helps someone
