I wouldn't worry about how you measure. It's a very old method and inaccurate. When I was pregnant with DD I was measuring behind so they sent me for a growth scan and everything was fine, DD then arrived 2 weeks early!
Go by the dates for your scans, but bear in mind that of course your date is more of an estimated arrival date anyway, the amount of babies that arrive on their actual due date is fairly low.
When I was measured in hospital I was measured by 5 different midwives and they got 5 different measurements lol. It all depends on body shape, how you carry your baby etc... really wouldn't worry about it ! xx
