Hello all, been managing to grab a few minutes while feeding to keep upto date with everyone, congratulations to all that have popped recently.
So almost 4 weeks on and Me and the boys are going great, few blips along the way, Reuben had a tongue tie which we had snipped, has made a huge difference to his feeding, Marcus has an appointment at the prolonged jaundice clinic on Monday. Feeding is going great so far, always wanted to exclusively breast feed and had lots of negative responses, 26 days on and so far so good, it has been trying at times as I feel like a milking parlour cow, with one or the other of the boys firmly attached all day, but at night they are going 4 hours between feeds so we are getting some sleep which makes all the difference, they are absolute milk monsters and at 3 weeks were both a lb over birth weight.
Hoping to start expressing but not too sure how to go about it when you are using both boobs seemingly all the time, think a call to the breastfeeding helpline may be in order, or if anyone has any advice I would much appreciate it.
Heres the all important pic taken this morning at 26 days old, i know we are biased but they are sooooo cute and despite the hardwork wouldn't swap then for the world and love them to the moon and back.

Oh PP your not biased they are gorgeous! I have no idea how you are feeding them both yourself, your amazing.
Do they comfort/settle each other? Do they sleep together? I'm just amazed by them and you, it takes everything I have and all my time to look after 1, I have no idea how your doing so magnificently with 2!xx

This is a lovely update PP! Well done for breastfeeding (people raise their eyebrows at me when I say I am going to try and exclusively bf then both). They are absolutely adorable and sound like they are doing so well x

They are so cute & well done with exclusively breast feeding them, must be tiring but worth it. Good luck with expressing x

Thanks guys, have to say so far they have been pretty good ( although as they are our 1st kiddies we have nothing to compare them too!)
Ducky don't let anyone tell you it isn't possible, I haven't put a time frame on how long I will feed for and take each day as it comes but so far so good! a friend lent me a feeding pillow called 'my Brest friend' I can totally recommend it and it has helped me so much with with feeding and latching to the point I bought the twin feeding one myself to help tandem feed!
Missdeedee - if I am honest they don't really notice each other yet, I loved the idea they would cuddle and touch and reach for each other but even though they have started really focusing on us they don't look at each other! They sleep together the 1st stretch of night in the cot but we have to give them seperate blankets and plenty of space between them or they hit each other and wrestle for the blanket! The 2nd stint in the night we are really naughty and they end up in the middle of our bed one usually cuddled up with me and the other with my h ( naughty to have them in our bed I know but we all love the cuddle time!)
Thanks again x

They're gorgeous PP! Sounds like you're all settling in really well and well done on the breastfeeding, I'm dreading the thought of dealing with one hungry baby, nevermind two!
