I was wondering how Bunny could be third tri already!
How's doing this morning? I'm not feeling period painy which is both good and frustrating at the same time. If she's not coming out today is rather not be sore though, especially as I've got J all day today. We're heading to a toddler group this morning I think, and then meeting some Nct friends at a soft play cafe this afternoon. I had loads of movement from Attila yesterday, constant wriggles and kicks, it feels like she's pretty far engaged as each movement was sending shooty pains into my foof, delightful! it's rainy and horrid today, but that's doing wonders for my cankles, I'm still pufty but nowhere near as bad as the last few days so that's a plus!

As I am 27 weeks today I guess I belong here now.......
Spikey - Sounds like a lovely day planned, minus the pains! So exciting for you being so close and it sounds like you are keeping yourself busy. Great news your cankles have eased up!
AFM - Very emotional being third tri - some dark wks neither me or OH thought this was ever going to happen without fertility treatment so feeling very blessed at arriving here following a surprise bfp end of Dec.
Just the usual back pain and carpel tunnel for me - plus swelling of the feet and calves. Have reflexology tonight so hoping that helps.
Hi to all who follow!

SG I hope the weather stays a bit cooler and that your ankles keep responding. Mine have gone down too so as far as I'm concerned the sun can feck off until august! Enjoy soft play and meeting the NCT girls. Most importantly baby out vibes , come on atilla!
Sas welcome to 3 rd tri. I've got carpal tunnel too, are you sleeping in wrist splints? It really helps mine. I hope the reflexology works, let me know how you get on as I'd like to try anything!
Afm I had a much better nights sleep! Yay! 10.30-8!!! I did get up for the loo 4 times but I managed to get back to sleep. Off to the physio again today and I'm going to head swimming too as it really seems to help. Had loads of BH yesterday, quite distracting!

SG - nice day planned. Hope J enjoys soft play and you go have a good catch up with the NCT ladies. Not sure whether it's good or bad that the pains have gone, but like you say if she's not coming soon it's always better to be more comfy! Hopefully the weather will stay cool for a while now, I was dying at work earlier this week.
Sas - Hellooo! Welcome to 3rd tri. Really hope the reflexology helps as carpel tunnel is nasty! I bet you're another that's hoping the weather stays a bit rubbish for a while too. The curse of summer babies eh?
Imp - glad your sleep was better although 4 loo trips sounds highly irritating! Hope physio and swimming are good. I'm planning on going this weekend as some chill out time. This week seems to have been hell! Any nice plans for the weekend?
AFM - I am looking after a new temp in the office as our team had gone down to 2 and the other girl only works part time. He is sooooo irritating though and I feel I might be being too mean. He's talks to me whilst I'm on the phone though which makes me want to scream!! Possibly hormones coming into play a bit too haha.
Off to see the house tomorrow to do scary grown up things like measure the space we have for a fridge etc. Then I need to go to primark to get some things for my hospital bag. H is working Sunday so I plan to do absolutely nothing! Lots of kicking sessions from the babe. It's gone from a few strong ones to loads of rapid movements in one go several times a day. I love it!
Hi to all that follow
Hi Imp, thanks for the welcome - I am sleeping in wrist splints but not seeing much help from them to be honest! My doc has referred me to physio so hopefully the app comes in soon.
Ive been going for reflexology every 4 weeks since past first tri - I really enjoy it and its one of the few things which doesnt have to be modified in pregnancy so I feel like I am getting my moneys worth haha!
Yea to a good nights sleep and good luck with your physio app! Is it for your hands or back?
23/05/2014 at 09:31
SG - have a lovely day and I hope the puffiness continues to go down. Baby out vibes to you!
SaSaSi - welcome to 3rd tri! Hope the reflexology works for you.
Imp - Woohoo to a better nights sleep! Hope your physio appointment goes well and enjoy your swim.
AFM - I'm making the most of having nothing to do today as the next 4 days will be busy. Just going to sort out the final decorations for the nursery and watch TV I think.

Missed you Jonesey! Your new temp sounds a bit annoying! Have a lovely weekend going to see your new house and getting some things for your hospital bag.
23/05/2014 at 09:38
Must have replied as same time as jonesy - sorry!
Jonesy - People like that really irritate me - I would just totally blank him when on the phone! You have reminded me that I should really think about starting a hospital bag!
Enjoy all the movements!
Lxia - Enjoy a quiet day - I am very jealous I could actually sleep at my desk Im so tired haha
23/05/2014 at 10:03
Jonesy enjoy seeing your house, how lovely and exciting! A lazy day on Sunday sounds pretty good too.
Sas I've been waiting for 6 weeks for my nhs physio referral and I've not still not seem anyone. I'm paying privately as I couldn't stand the pain anymore. It's my hips and pelvis, I've got pgp. I hope your appt comes throughuch quicker than mine.,
Ixia enjoy your lazy day.

SG, hurrah to rain! We had the rain yesterday and it was such a welcome relief. Hope you have a nice day with your NCT friends and that your aches ease soon (or that Attila puts in appearance!)
SaSaSi, welcome to 3rd tri! :) Hope your reflexology helps tonight.
Imp, woohoo for a good sleep, that's fab news :) Hope you enjoy your swim later and that the physio helps today. BH are super exciting, your body is getting ready!! Eeeek!
Jonesy, how exciting that you're off to see your house tomorrow! Do you have a completion date yet? Your temp sounds very annoying, I'd be blanking him too...whether on the phone or not haha!
Ixia, enjoy your quiet day!
AFM, I'm on iron tablets now and a high dose of folic acid as the mw thinks I might be anaemic. I have to get my bloods repeated at the next appointment. Joy. I've been feeling a bit shakey and panicky and I get boiling hot and drenched in sweat - it's so glamorous! I was borderline with my iron levels after the last bloods so it makes sense that this is what it is.
In house news we have agreed a completion date...when I'll be 38 weeks!!! I really hope baby isn't early! Baby stay inside vibes for me lol!
Hi to all who follow, happy Friiiiday :)

Ixia - sorting out the nursery sounds lovely. I can't wait to do that. What do you need to get?
Sas - i only starting thinking about it last weekend when somebody said you needed it done by 30 weeks! Total panic then ensued! I'm still not sure I'll get round to packing it... Seems more real then. Might just leave it all in carrier bags so it's all in one place haha
Imp - really sucks you had to go private. Hope it helps though.
Fig - nope no date yet but all the searches and things are done so it can't be too long now! Congrats on your date! You must be so excited!! Packing starts here. Sending you all the baby on time vibes I can. Hopefully the iron tablets will help you feel better too. The shakes and heat dont sound good at all. Take it easy! I retract my statement about packing. You are to supervise only!

Morning party people!
SG, boo to the stabby foof pain, but yay for the rain helping cool things down. We had storms yesterday, it as amazing!
Welcome, SaSaSi! And a big congratulations for getting here :) sorry to hear about the carpal tunnel, I hope the reflexology helps.
Imp, isn't it a relief when you manage a good night? Hope you enjoy swimming and have more good nights to come.
Jonesy, you have my sympathy with the temp. So many temps are pants, and I don't think it's hormonal to be upset when he talks toy ou when you're not he phone, that's just bizarre! Enjoy your grown up house measuring :). Oh, and primark, too. I got bits from there for the hospital bag, it definitely made things feel more real.
Ixia, you'll have to show us your nursery ideas :)
Fig, that sounds horrible. I hope it is the anaemia and the iron helps. I had low iron at my 28 wk bloods, and I did have a couple near fainting spells, and the feelings you describe of sweating, panic, and shakiness sounds familiar. Anyways, baby-stay-put vibes coming your way until 39 weeks (giving you a week to settle in first )
Phew, I bet I've missed someone while typing this I always do. Anyways, every day I get twinges that make me wonder 'what if..' It's really annoying, and I wish I knew how to switch it off. I've been taking Wispa on longer walks this week, basically as long as I can manage before seriously needing a pee, haha. And the rest of my time? Sky on demand is my new best friend, haha. Although yesterday's baking endeavor went wonderfully. I highly recommend homemade pop tarts. They shouldn't even be called pop tarts, because they're so much better. Flakey dough, gooey centre, they just melt in your mouth! I've got a big stash of unbaked ones in the freezer for when baby is here and I need a sugar hit!

SG - Hope the swelling continues to go down and you don't get too many foof pains today!
SaSaSi - Welcome!! Hope the reflexology continues to help.
Imp - Glad you had a good night, I was awake at 5am but feel ok for it so must have slept well before that!
Jonesy - I am currently training up my replacement, my god he can't half talk... I have started to switch of mid sentence which is very rude of me but my brain can't cope!
Ixia - Deffo need a nursery ideas flash!
Figaro - Excellent news on the completion date... lets hope baby stays put for a little while!
Wispa - You have just made me super hungry!!
Hope I haven't missed anyone out - I always worry I have!!! As for me... I am painting skirting boards tonight while the boy is out in preparation for the carpet fitter coming on Tuesday, along with the new bed and sofa! Off out to Dunelm Mill tomorrow to buy bedding and a new duvet and pillows. Nothing exciting, just the non-iron plain sets for now! Get some cake toppers to get finished this weekend too, starting to stress me out that I haven't done them yet so need to get them done. Starting to think about hospital bag, I have most things but a few more to get. Need to do an inventory of baby clothes this weekend too as I don't think I have enough newborn, and way too much 0-3 and 6-9!
23/05/2014 at 17:05
Fig - glad you've got a completion date and baby in vibes until after you have moved!
Jonesy - we need a curtain/blind, some shelves and a few decorative bits as it's a bit plain at the moment.
Wispa - your homemade poptarts sound amazing. Recipe please, or is it a secret?!
Kapowski - painting skirting boards sounds like hard work! You've reminded me that at some point I need to go through the big bag of 2nd hand clothes we've been given.
