We have a really basic playmat that was given to us that has a few soft jangly toys on it but after loving it for the last few weeks I think S has gone off it. It's not particularly interesting so I want to get him something fancier!
What playmat do you have? What features do your LOs like? S is a big fan of tummy time so I'd like something that's a bit more fun for him when he's on his front.

Once he could roll I took the bars off and just use it as a mat. The toys can all be attached to loops which he likes as they don't roll away from him!

We have the Mamas and Papas lotty play gym. Our friends bought it for us. F is only 3 weeks old but he loves it, its so soft and cushioned, has five detachable jangly toys on it and buttons which play music and make certain areas light up. I think its especially good for tummy time too.

I have the one weekender linked too! O loves it although the music gets very annoying after a while

We had this 1. The musical star on it is attached with velcro so can be removed & was fab also attached to my daughters car seat, & the music is really good - not annoying. All the toys are attached by links so you can attach your own toys to them as well as these, although there is a good mix of toys on their (my daughter still uses the teether from there too). It looks like it's half price too so a bargain (we bought ours with money from my brother & sil & my youngest sister bought my middle sister exactly the same one).
