Since the evenings have been getting darker my daughter (age 3) is wanting a light on when she goes to bed. We currently leave the landing light on but am considering a night light for her.
Has anyone got one, there are so many and the prices seem to range massively so am after some recommendations?

We got these from Dunlem Mill - they come on automatically when the light level goes low enough, so they come on when you turn the main bedroom light off, and go off by the morning which is really handy. You can also pick up the ladybird bit which is seperate then turns on as a torch, which is really handy when you want to see something at night, like when she's lost her cuddly elephant!
I cant find them on Dunelms website, but they are on here
about half way down first page
I think the make on the box was OSRAM when we got them.
PS: Edited to say its the ladybird sitting on the leaf - we have one each for a girl and boy so I think they are pretty unisex... However, I think they did a rocket one too.

it's not a night light specifically, but a light that has 3 levels of brightness. So you touch the base once for very soft dim light, twice for lighter and on the third touch it's bright light. we have it on the lowest level for him to fall asleep, then we turn it off when we go to bed. It's on his chest of drawers and gives the room a nice calm glow.

Thanks both for you suggestions. We are decorating I's room soon and the ladybird one would really go with the theme. Will have to show H and see what he thinks x

have you considered a go glow night light? We got one for our daughter when she was 4 and she still uses it now (6). She normally takes it off the dock and shines the torch element of it across the room from her bed now a days rather than having one of the pictures on the ceiling.
