I had a scan last week at 36+2 and it showed baby has reduced fluid. I already know he has problems with one kidney (non-functioning) but this could indicate there's more of a problem. I've to get another scan on friday 25th, if its reduced further the consultant talked about delivering him quickly
has anyone else had this?

been wondering where youve been, sorry i dont know much about it, but had a friend whos waters leaked from 22wks and her baby was delivered a few weeks early, all was fine!
Jack was born at 37wks, it was scary at the time, but he was safer out than in, and was home within a week!
Hope other than that you are all well, and sending you lots of luck for friday. xxxx

Sorry I don't know much about this, but when I had worries about various problems when pregnant with Merlin,I used the NHSDirect website. You can send a question they email you back an answer. There's a lot of sites that offer information but if you read to much it can make you feel worse. The NHS one just gives you straightforward balanced information.
Hope your appointment goes well Friday. Are they talking about a section?
Hope you're feeling well apart from that.Take care and best of luck.

yeah I've done some reading about it, it seems quite common (about 12% of pregnancies in the last trimester) and can fix itself. they mentioned delivery if it doesn't improve but didn't say section although i'm not letting them induce me cause of the spd, if they want him out early then they have to c-section me
only one more day till i find out, i'm sick of being pregnant now but i'd rather go overdue in pain than have something else wrong with him

today there was a very slight increase in fluid so i've to go back again next week and they'll be able to tell if he's still growing. bit of a pain seeing as i'm stuck at the hospital for at least an hour and a half, today was 3 hours and its a nightmare with the kids.
i can see them keeping me going back every week until he decides to come himself
