Hi, how's everyone getting on? I hope your little ones are all starting to make improvements.
As for us, after stopping A's Meds as advised by the consultant as he thought it can't be reflux if its a cmpi, we've had to start them again. Within 48 hourwedge was screaming all day, arching, was stiff as a board and was being really sicky after feeds again. She's a bit better since starting them again but I know the dosage is it totally wrong now so I'm just hoping the doctors are quick to take over her care so we can get it updated. We're still getting screaming in the evening for 2 or 3 hours so I'm wondering whether trying neocate might be the solution. Her napping has totally gone to pot too! I'm feeling quite stressed that she's 3 months now and not in any kind of a routine but when she doesn't sleep and cries a lot of the time I don't know how or where to start?
Fingers crossed we all get there soon!

Hi, Popcorn! I'm so pleased S seems to getting better. Hopefully, this is it now for you and his reflux is under control. I know what you mean about being ok for a few day then all going to pot again so will keep everything crossed that doesn't happen! Waiting for the GP to take over is a long drawn out process of them writing to the consultant (which has to be dictated to the secretary and typed out cus we're living in the 1940's here!) and then the consultant writing back. It's ridiculous! I have read the baby whisperer books when E was born but to be honest I has quite bad PND at the time and she made me feel like I was a crap mother and was doing everything wrong, especially as E never slept. We were on the EASA plan (I had no Y time as I barely had time to wee before she was awake again!) I just seem to make babies who hate to sleep no matter what I try!
Tina Teaspoon, let us know how you're getting on.

We have been very lucky with Orla as her reflux has been easily controlled with gaviscon, it wasn't quite so easy with Zoe and I remember the constant screaming and crying. I hadn't even realised that that wasn't normal and just thought that was what all babies were like.
Don't stress about a routine, honestly it really isn't the be all and end all. I never had a routine for Zoe, still don't if I'm honest, and don't have one for Orla.

JB, I honestly don't know how you coped with 2 babies having it. I feel like I'm just surviving day by day, waiting for her to grow out of it. please say it will happen soon! I seem to be getting nowhere fast with the doctors. In sorry but I don't know how old Zoe and Orla are but are they both ok now?
