I have no idea about these but thinking it will be cheaper than keep buying disposables, and probably more comfy.
Had a look on eBay and there's loads of varying prices so don't know what the difference is.
Where did you buy yours from? is there anything I should be looking out for? are some better than others? Is it best to get ones with a waterproof back or not?
Any tips greatly appreciated

The little lamb ones were my favourite. No waterproof back but so absorbent it wasnt necessary (plus a waterproof back just sounds scratchy to me). I wish I'd never bought any disposables! They were itchy as anything and never stayed in place, plus were very thick.
I got the larger size LLs as my boobs are a FF cup.

Another vote for the Little Lamb pads here, they are excellent.

I have Little Lamb ones too. So comfy compared to disposables x
Thanks ladies. Do you just put them in the wash like normal? Are they ok to use fabric softener ? I don't use reusable nappies so would just be planning to chuck in the wash with clothes at 40 degrees is that alright?
They look quite thin on the picture, do you never have problems with them soaking through onto your bra and top?

I put mine in with the nappies so can't help there. I would imagine though that fab cond is a no-no, as it would make them less absorbent.
They are made with bamboo which is super absorbent... yes they are very thin and I was surprised, especially when comparing to the disposables, but it's amazing how much they can soak up. I never had them leak, and I wore mine 12 hours a day then changed and wore 12 hours at night until my boobs stopped leaking milk.

Glad I asked about the fabric softener , will have to remember that!

I'm pretty sure that the LL ones have a layer of PUL in them. They're so lovely and soft, I'd definitely recommend. And no, no fabric conditioner. Though you could use Bold 2in1 powder as the conditioner in that is clay based so doesn't coat the fibres like normal conditioner.

Another vote for LLs - my nipples are still quite sore and they are very comfy and soothing to wear. I have had 1 leaking incident though, while R was feeding on the left, I must have had a massive let down in the right and my top was dripping - and I could have wrung the pad out! They haven't otherwise come close to that though, so I have no idea what was going on - R was about 10 days old when that happened and my milk supply is still regulating so I've used the lansinoh disposables when I'm going out just in case it happens again, but generally prefer the LLs.
