No choice is ever set in stone.

Why did you decide you wanted to bottle feed, and what's making you rethink? You could always resolve to give breastfeeding a try, initially say you'll try for a week, and see how you get on. It's much easier to swap to bottles than to go back to breastfeeding once you've been bottlefeeding a few weeks - it IS possible but it's hard work.

Can you transfer from the birthing unit to the hospital ward if they don't have enough pain relief in the unit?

Oh hun, everyone goes through this, honest.

I feel like I have changed my mind a 1000 times about everything lol. Have you got to the stage of writing/going through your birth plan with your midwife yet? If not, just make a list of your ideas/for and againsts for the options you are looking at and then go through them with her. I have my next appointment with my MW at 33+5 and this is when we are going through mine. Even so, things can be changed at any time if you don't feel comfortable.

Try not to worry as you will find that everything starts fitting into place and the choices will come naturally.

I am going through this stage just now with everything. Its like it sounds excellent in my head but when I say it it doesnt sound right!! And when I go to buy something I keep second guessing and thinking emmmmm do I really want this. Nightmare!!!

I think with the Bf thing thats always going to be a controversial decision and I dont think anyone should make their mind up about that untill the baby is here. I have arranged to attend a BF workshop a fortnight before im due and havent bought a pump or formula yet. I will buy formula just in case but I want to BF. My mum couldnt BF me as it was just too sore and I have sworn that I will try but not beat myself up if it doesnt work so dont worry...what is supposed to happen will :~) x
