My friend has asked me what I am doing about my scar and bikini line. I can't help as my hair has never come up this far. Thoughts?

As in hair removal? Shave in the same direction the hair grows? that's what i do anyway, that or use a hair removal cream.  Either you are really lucky, or your scar is really high up! I think the hair regrowing after they had shaved it in the theatre was more uncomfortable than removing the dressing afterwards!

My scars definitely lower than my hairline!

Can I ask, does your scar still feel a bit sort of numb or at least that it has reduced feeling? My scar still feels really wierd, it gives me a horrible feeling if I'm shaving my bikini line of even just knickers pushing against it, is this normal after 5months?

MDD, I have the same thing! I feel bruised when I lean against the kitchen work top too!

LP, either you have v low pubes, or a v high scar!! I've only shaved once but my advise would be to do it slowly and carefully!!! It didn't help that I could barely see over my pouch. Oh it's just delightful isn't it! Ha.

I thought after 5 months it would feel better by now and I would have all the feeling back like normal. I'm sure it will fade but the scars worse than I was expecting, plus with the wierd feeling it gives me the boak even when  just getting washed etc!

My scar is also above my hair line, and for those of you wondering if numbness and odd feelings are still normal then from my experience yes.  Mine still felt very odd up to 4.5 yrs after having Zoe.  Funnily enough it feels better since having Orla (planned section) and she is only 9 mths

My scar is still numb and the scar tissue is easily felt underneath. My scar is extremely low and I've only just been brave enough to be waxed 11 months on!

Mines pretty low too and glad to hear the wierd feeling and numbness is 'normal'! There is no way I'm brave enough to have it waxed yet, I feel like if could possibly rip open!!
