are they any good? Is it just the fisher prics one or are there others? What did you pay?

After reading reviews online the Fisher Price Rainforest one came out on top so that's the one we went for- think we paid around £100 from Toys r Us. It's worth it's weight in gold! J would quite happily bounce around in there all day some days if I'd let him. He started going in there about 4.5 months and would only do a couple if mins to start with then one day he just seemed to get it.

Ha I have been looking at these too today after a Dw people said they liked them! Think I'm going to see if I can get one 2nd hand as they are expensive brand new.

Amazing for some arms free time and very stimulating for baby.
We got ours from eBay for around 40.

they are fab for storing them in when you need to get on with things - A loved his and we have just put R (4 months) in his - only for short bursts at the moment as he is still a little small.
I would never buy one new - they are £100 ish - with A we borrowed one and this time i got one locally 2nd hand for £35 and I can sell it on for that once R has out grown it.

We haven't used ours yet but have bought a second hand one locally for £40

I loved ours and so glad we kept it for this one. G loved it and its not too irritating! Gives you time to do two-handed stuff!! X

As everyone else has said! We've loved ours. It really came into its own at about 5 months when he decided he didn't want to be held as much but wasn't keen on lying down, but couldn't sit for more than ten seconds. If he goes in there he's not being held and kind of potters about with all the different animals, but he can still watch me getting on with stuff. We also have the Fisher Price one.

Hmmm, well I definitely do not think they are worth the money at all. Isaac went in his from 4.5/5 months and loved it so it was great to put him in it but by 8 months he absolutely hated it as he wanted out all the time so we literally got 3/3.5 months out if it, as soon as they start moving or in isaacs case wanting to move they aren't interested. Thankfully I only paid £15 for it on eBay, would have been devastated if I'd have paid any more! It's currently with my friends lo who's 5 months and then someone else wants it so its good its doing the rounds but I really do think you only get short term use out if it. L was crawling at 6 months there's no way he'd have stayed in it x

I never had one, to me, they are like one of those walker things, which I didn't have either as I don't really like them. They are so massive as take up a lot of space and don't always get a lot of use

We had a door bouncer and seperate activity table that we put in front of it as she got older

Quite simply the best baby toy we had! S lasted about 4-6 months in his I'd say at least. We were loaned ours but to be honest I'd have paid the money for it. It saved my sanity and S loved it! We've given that one back now but fortunately my niece has one and hopefully she'll have grown out of it by the time this baby is old enough.
Try and get one second hand if you can or use a discount code to get one. They sell second hand really well so you probably won't lose money on it if you sell it on after

E was given hers by grandparents when she was 4.5 months old, still uses it now and it's a godsend. She can spend 45 minutes in there happily and frees me up to get on with stuff.
As others have said, they are often sold secondhand for a huge saving x

One of our absolute best buys. P went in it from 4 months to over 10 months so we got lots from our money. I did buy one new as hunted about on amazon for a bargain but you can definitely pick them up second had. Brilliant stimulation for baby, more to do as they get older and was brilliant for actually being able to get things done. Highly recommend them.

I bought one in boots for not far off £60. It has £15 off it now making it £76 with free delivery. Went through quidco for 8% cashback and got just over £9 worth of points which I will easily spend on nappies making the final price £60ish.
